Some days are worth keeping not because they were remarkable, but because they were yours. AnnualRing Diary gives those moments a quiet place to land and be found again.
It is a diary that puts your words first: titles, tags, moods, and templates are never required. Simply write and look back, or turn to an AI observation when you want another layer.
EASY TO START
· One tap opens today's page; one entry per day, with automatic draft saving
· Nine optional approaches and real-life examples help with the first sentence. Prompts never enter your text or call AI, and can be skipped anytime
AI OBSERVATIONS & MEMORY
· AI draws on the current entry and relevant memories to respond from another angle and help you notice feelings or thoughts you may have missed
· Keep talking around an observation: add context, offer another view, or overturn it when it misses the mark
· View, correct, delete, or restore memories about you and important relationships; corrections are remembered
· Using AI is your choice; writing, look-backs, search, and export work without it
LOOK BACK & FIND ANY ENTRY
· Revisit through Random, This Day in Past Years, Latest, Earlier Days, or Timeline, plus date filters and full-text search
· Optional Premium mood ratings and trends show what you recorded, for you to interpret in your own way
YOUR WORDS ARE YOURS
· Local-first and fully usable offline, with private sync through your own iCloud
· Export entries on this device for free as an offline website with text, dates, photos, weather, and moods
· Your diary database is not on our servers. AI sends only what that request needs; our server does not retain diary text
· App Lock and background protection keep entries private; photo metadata is removed on import; no social features, public publishing, or feeds
WRITE ANYTIME, ADD ONLY WHAT YOU WANT
· Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, a Lock Screen control, and Siri open today's entry
· Reminders are off by default; you choose the time and wording, with no guilt nudges
· Add up to 5 photos per entry. Weather and ten quiet illustrations are optional and off by default
