What's New in Another Page

2.3.0

August 18, 2026

iCloud sync is here. Premium readers can keep reading positions, highlights, notes, shelves, stats, reader settings, reading rules, and book files under 100 MB in step across iPhone and iPad. It uses your own iCloud Drive. Another Page has no sync server and cannot see the contents. The reader has had a major upgrade. The Aa menu is now organized into Theme, Text, and Layout, with more fonts and controls, bold text, a warm Ember theme, full-screen reading, keep-screen-on, time and pages left, seek previews, and clearer Chapters, Highlights, and Bookmarks tabs. You can translate selected text, open password-protected PDFs, and read right-to-left books in their proper direction. App groups can now have their own hours and days. Stats and Library are easier to explore, motion fully follows Reduce Motion, and book errors can be shared without book titles or file paths. This update also fixes last-page resume after Read to Unlock sessions, PDF reliability, brightness restoration, and iCloud sync reliability.

User reviews

Almost perfect!

I absolutely adore rereading classics, so much so that they’ve become one of my favorite ways to spend those little 5 minute pockets of free time throughout the day. Social media, on the other hand, isn’t really my thing, but when there’s 'nothing to do' and I have a few minutes to kill, it’s ridiculously easy to instinctively open one of those pesky apps. Which is exactly why this app is perfect for me!
I actually discovered Another Page through a Reddit forum that popped up when I was searching for classical libraries and then promptly eagerly waited for the iOS release. One of the things I appreciate most is the commitment to privacy. It feels like so many apps collect an unnecessary amount of data nowadays, so finding one that doesn’t collect your data and doesn’t even require an email address to use is genuinely refreshing. I’ve always found mandatory sign-ups to be such an unnecessary barrier, and they often discourage me from trying an app altogether. AND THEN NO ADS?! Absolute heaven.

My only critiques are that I wish we could block more than three apps. I have more than three that I could probably stand to use a little less, so having to choose between my “lesser evils” can be difficult. I’ve also noticed that the unblock timer seems to drain my battery a little, although I’m not sure whether that’s something within your control or simply an iOS limitation. Overall, though, I absolutely love this concept and execution!

Response from developer

Hello! I'm glad you are finding the app useful, and thank you for such a positive review! You can block more than three apps with premium.

A wonderful app for the road

Surprisingly, this week I noticed that the app actually gave me a love for reading. Thank you for developing it.

Love!

Very easy to use especially importing books. The pages also look very clean and nice to read. I also like that there are already books included.

Great able to keep focus on reading

Love the UI and has help me with reading more!

Got Me Reading

I really enjoy this app, it even got me reading like I should. I started 5 days ago, and have finished 2 books, hardly touched my locked apps. The ONLY thing keeping it from 5 stars, is the app not tracking you’re reading, and using it to unlock app(s) unless you first click on a locked app, and go through the steps to start the unlock process. Other than that, I love this app.
