Simply Doesn’t Work
The content on the app when it works is fantastic. However the app and website always crash or are down. The app is over designed and buggy. Difficult to navigate menus and podcast pages. It’s now broke so much that I want to cancel. But Lo and behold both app and website are down so I can’t remove my billing details

Rip it up and start again
Appreciate that they wanted to create this to own more control over their podcasts, but for that to make sense for audiences you need to have an intuitive, well-designed and solid platform – which this is none of the above. You can sense it’s build and maintenance has just been farmed out somewhere, with very little care or good design. Seldom functions properly, and when it does it’s annoying and counter-intuitive to use.

How is it possible an app is this bad
PLEASE FIX YOUR APP. Why does it always go back to the top when I’m scrolling and why do you have the most non functional search bar in the history of search bars. This is the worst app I have ever used. If quickly Kevin was anywhere else I’d leave your platform
Almost unusable
As can be seen from the previous reviews there are lots of usability problems with this app. Probably the most frustrating is the downloads which rarely works at all and instead endlessly buffers. The interface is glitchy, jumpy, and not intuitive. Please sort this out.

Great content in the worst app around
First up the content on the app is some of the best around. The app itself though is simply dreadful. As a user experience it is full of bugs that have been around forever and have never been fixed, it’s not intuitive in the slightest, navigation between menus is so frustrating as if you accidentally swipe (very easy to do) and return to the previous screen it takes you to the top of the previous menu, the same if you try and download and can’t hit the jackpot in hitting the single smallest button in app history. The creators clearly don’t care as there have been no improvements since this was first launched.

Downloading from Purchased
I seem to have real trouble downloading a programme from my purchased content. It can take ages or not work at all. Whilst drawing the battery. Not impressed.

Completely unusable. Downloaded episodes frequently just looping the first few minutes. Paying for a subscription for a podcast but virtually impossible to listen to on this platform

Great app and easy to use. Was a bit buggy when it first came out but the issues are ironed out now.

First impressions - very buggy, downloads don’t seem to work at all, and just buffer endlessly. Given that this is a known problem, and has been the case for many months I presume, would anyone like to offer an explanation? Is anyone working on this or should we all just cancel our subscriptions? I suspect the most recent positive reviews here are all fake by the way…

Great app.
Personally I’ve really enjoyed this app. Found it easy to navigate, better than Patreon. Plus you get access to so much extra content it’s a total no brainer. Would definitely recommend.

Doesn’t have the basic functionality you need for a podcast app—no control over speed, pausing works inconsistently, the skip ahead isn’t functional with AirPods
Frustrating
The app itself isn’t too bad, but there are a few really frustrating issues.
1. You have to log back in after every update, and also seemingly at random.
2. The app doesn’t remember your username/email, so you have to type that when you have to log in over and over. There also is no Face ID.
3. Resume play where you left off is very hit and miss. You often have to start the pod from the start.

It doesn’t work
Not sure what’s more annoying - the message saying the episode is “no longer available” or the endless buffering wheel. Total garbage.

Great app and keeps getting better
Love how everything is centralised in one app. They usability is intuitive and they are adding new functionality all the time. Stability issues seem to have been sorted. Some great content already, keep it coming!
