Totally hear your frustration, inconsistent answers can be a dealbreaker, especially when you’re relying on it across multiple courses. Coursology is built to give accurate, step-by-step help, but no AI tool is perfect, which is why we always encourage double-checking important work rather than using it as a final answer. No refund
Even if you cancel the subscription and delete your account immediately after realizing the mistake, they still charge you. When I contacted support, this is the response I got:
“We appreciate you reaching out to Coursology Support. Upon checking, you have successfully changed your plan to the yearly plan before cancelling and deleting the account. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds in accordance with Section 7 of our Terms of Use.”
So basically—good luck if you want to give them free money. Their system is designed to mislead users and make canceling as difficult as possible. I’m sharing this so others don’t fall for the same trap

Sorry you went through all of that — it sounds really frustrating, and definitely not the experience we want for anyone using Coursology. Just to clarify, the app isn’t designed to trick or mislead students, and subscription changes always require a confirmation step in the app stores. Sorry you had such a rough time — that sounds really frustrating. Right now, Coursology subscriptions are linked to the platform where they were purchased (mobile vs. web), which can cause confusion when switching devices. As I have previously advised Apple said it’s not through them it was through your website purchased and processed. They have nothing to do with it to be able to CANCEL!!!

Hard to cancel and will charge you
Update - MONTHS later they reached out - I had to have my bank block their charges. Awful company…. They also make it near impossible to cancel…. DO NOT RECOMMEND
