Ads before you ever get to play
When you press “play,” you’ll be shown an ad before you ever get to see the game. Not one of those passable, “continue to game” banners — this is an ad wall prioritized over ever loading the game up, no impression of gameplay. Nothing to help me decide if the game is worth sitting through advertising. While I dislike ads as much as the next person, I know they are necessary to pay developers. I agree revenue should be top of list of priorities for a professional dev. But when the first thing you show users is an ad for someone else’s work, that just indicated to me user experience isn’t high on list of priorities. I deleted the ap long before the ad timer was up.

Thank you for playing Ant Simulator and for sharing your feedback! Honestly, the fighting is my favorite part too — I love how the whole colony bands together when fighting off rival ants.
I LOVE IT
