Oh memories.

If only this wasn’t abandoned. And if only you didn’t lose all your upgrades and purchases on colony reset. I really want to like this but it’s just. That’s mean.

Great game

A very great game it would be cool if there was a sequel and I’m happy it’s free

Ant War is back!

Loved this game growing up on the browser. Now with new computers and the end of flash, it’s hard to play games like this or Age Of Castles! Great to be able to play this game again, however, I noticed that the nursery ants will produce the same rate of ants regardless of the % allocated as long as it is at 5% or over. Ditto Worker ants.

Scouts need over 55% to have positive food flow

Nostalgic!

I played this when I was a kid, nostalgic and very relaxing to come back to it!

Pls

Can you make it so I don’t loose ants rapidly

Memories

Loved this as a kid, my nephew seems to like it too. Perhaps he is just humoring me though haha.

Good game

Good game

Simply amazing

Simply amazing.

Very good game

No random adds, good survival, realistic, just good in general

Great game

I remember playing this game when I was young and loved it

I beat the game but...

At 5 million ants if forces you to restart and end them game

Childhood nostalgia.

Like many others who have left a review I played this game when they offered the one hour trial as a kid, but I managed to convince my dad to buy me the game and this is ALMOST a perfect replica of those times. There’s been a change to some of the music and the upgrade trees have additional tiers I believe. But the most glaring issue for me is how the enemies you fight scale to your colonies level meaning you’ll DESTROY buster and his dog for them to show up later in the day again but with superior stats that make them invincible to your hive. I assume this was added to the phone app and pc version (I also bought the PC game again) in order to incentivize micro transactions like the purchasing of the gems so you can buy upgrades which was to me one of the most satisfying things to get in the old game where you had to work hard for your upgrades.

Do not get this

This is absolutely the worst things I’ve seen in the App Store. I’ve maxed out my screens for five times and this is about as bad as it gets. Not only is a pay to with even if it was it it would be a best three stars.

Don’t make purchases! You will lose them.

At first I rated this game 5 stars.
But when i got to 5 million ants, the game instantly ends. You can’t continue your saved game, it’s gone. That part was a bit annoying, but I didn’t mind it so much.

You can start a new game, but all the upgrades/boosts you bought with gems are reset. That is a huge problem. It’s insanity to just delete all your premium currency upgrades. People paid money for those, and the game just resets them.

Mindless fun

Just a relaxing game.

Ant War

Being a fire ant colony is the best colony ever in the plains hidden from human discovery is the best if spotted little they care about you as humans litter you benefit what they leave behind you gain superiority over the food you claim and cherish from human waste like they always said another mans trash is a another mans treasure or ant if you assume ant to human.

Great Sim

Like others I played this almost two decades ago as a child. I am glad I re-found it after some searching.

RIP age of castles

Would prefer the medieval aesthetic but good game either way

Super fun simulation game!!

I played this game during my childhood when they only offered a free trial of 1-hour and then afterwards, you had to buy the game. Sadly, I was just a kid at the time so I had no money.

I was just reminded of this game, so then I decided to find it again and buy it— lo and behold, I found out this entire game was free, and not only that, the developers released an app version too!

This game is a super fun simulation to past the time. You get to pick 5 types of specializations for your ant colony and then you learn to manage the ant colony from finding food, to building nests, to nursing ants, and even fighting off enemies too.

I can admit it does get out of hand when you start fighting the police and the army. I laugh at how unrealistic it is, but I guess that’s what makes the game fun and enjoyable. I’m nearly at 1 million ants right now. You win the game when you get to 5 million ants.

What’s also super fun is the locations you get to unlock as you level up including someone’s house, a park, a beach and even a diner. Some of my favorites are the bakery, the diner, and the playground.

Download this game. You won’t regret it. Cheers to your ant empire!
