Useless

Couldn’t find any transmitters with 70miles and yet I can set one from where I am

Not Usable

The app works fine for identifying local antennas. But when you try to punch in to get a closer look at the antennas, it immediately snaps back to full screen view. Makes it impossible to use.

Please fix the zoom

Useful if I could actually zoom in on the map without it zooming out automatically after a couple seconds. Should be possible to make this improvement.

Zoom doesn’t work

As others have said. Zoom doesn’t work. It will automatically reset to the full view.
GGeorgieO

Doesn’t understand directions

The compass within the app inaccurate by 90-180 degrees. Recommending the opposite positioning for the antenna.

Would not recommend.

FAQ

What does Antenna Point do?

Antenna Point helps you aim your TV antenna by displaying transmitting towers on a map relative to your location. It shows coverage areas and provides guidance on the best direction to point your antenna for optimal channel reception.

How do I use Antenna Point to find channels?

The app identifies your location and shows nearby transmitting towers. You can then use the map and coverage patterns to determine the best direction to aim your antenna. After aiming, connect your antenna to your TV and perform a channel scan.

Is Antenna Point free to use?

Yes, Antenna Point is a free application. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned in the description.

What information can I see about the towers?

When you tap on a tower marker on the map, you can see its main network call sign, such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and others. The app also provides a channel list to preview stations available in your area.

What factors can affect TV signal reception?

Factors unrelated to the antenna's performance can interfere with signal reception. These include terrain, tall buildings, and trees. Finding an area with the most unobstructed view to the TV towers is recommended for the best TV signals.
