Can’t Find MRX 1140

Has this app been abandoned? I have a newer model MRX and the app can’t find it at all. Same network and everything. I can even connect to the MRX directly through safari using its local ip address, so they’re obviously on the same network. I’ll probably just go through my laptop i suppose.

ARC on iPhone 16 & iOS 18

The ARC will fail with “Critical Error”.
As per Raman B (Tech Support Advisor) the Mobile version is not supported any more.

Great room correction app

After numerous attempts to calibrate and experiment with multiple device/mic set-ups, it is amazing and love the final set-up. Definitely smoothed out some annoying harsh frequency spikes in a small room.

XR13 not supported

I have a nee paradigm xr13 and its not even on the list of supported devices. Yet there is a plug and arc emblem on the back. Pc software doesnt find the sub either. Plug everything in try and turn on arc and it tells me i have o download this app, which doesnt support this sub. Junk

Never completes

Using my iphone, the correction completes the first process for position 1. Then gets an error every time stating excessive background noise. It’s absolutely silent in the room. Useless…

App sees the receiver but won’t connect

App starts fine, sees the receiver (AVM60, firmware 1.4.095) but never finishes to connect. iPhone 7, iOS 15.7.6

Nothing

Didn’t connect with my Denon AVR S760H or my Paradigm Defiance V10.

Glitchy as F

When it works it’s great.
It just doesn’t always work without glitches.
(Dirac has similar issues)

Just doesn’t work!

App will not sync. I gave up after months of trying. I know Im doing everything right in trying to connect.

Useless

App can’t even discover devices. Don’t get past first part which is discovery. Their pc app is a disaster as well. The only thing that works sometimes is logging into the browser page via the IP. Anyways I have an anthem that I can’t run ARC on smh.

Crashy McCrashapp

You go through the process only to have the app crash at the very end and wipes out all the settings.

Are you kidding me?? MRX1140 is not supported???

I just bought the MRX1140 almost $4400 after tax. Hook it up, told to download iOS app in Quick start guide. THIS IS THE SECIND APP THAT DOESNT WORK WITH MRX1140!!!!
ARE YOU REALLY KIDDING ME????
the 1140 is the update to the 1120 that came out in 2015, yet no support for my brand new AVR. Rediculous.

Brand new iPhone not supported

As the title states, my iPhone 13 Pro Max is unsupported (or perhaps the version of iOS?)

In any case, this needs fixing.

Needs update

Please update your app for the new avm 70 and 90 processors that have been out for over a year now.

I’m Very Dissatisfied

Of all of the receivers that I could have purchased, I bout the Anthem 720 for its iOS ARC setup. It just doesn’t work. I have tried using my iPad and two different iPhones and none of them get past the first measure. I owned an MRX 700 and ARC on that machine was strictly a windows affair. The opportunity to use iOS lured me toward the 720. Now I have to try to borrow a windows based machine during COVID!

Doesn’t work needs to be updated

I’m trying to use the app (Feb 2021) with my ML Verse sound bar and iPhone 12 pro max. The app initializes but fails when taking the first reading giving the message “excessive noise.” There’s no noise. Just an old app that doesn’t work.

Time to get back to my receiver

What a absolute disappointment this anthem ordeal has been to me. They clearly are baby stepping it into the world of avr.

The app is a hit and miss, my mic worked 2 times on my laptop. Then stopped recognizing the mic, so used the app on my phone. Which is “so so “ but did the trick

Now half way in measuring .. drops a error and pops me out of the app.

I will steer away from anthem products hence forward, it’s not worth all the hassles I’ve been through.

Will not connect

Why can’t anthem just license apps from denon or Sony along with equipment firmware and features software. You guys are trying but not succeeding. The arc should be be simple on the app and using a mic but that’s not the case. Please contact denon to make life easier for your customers.

Anthem should stick what they do best is sound and outsource all wifi, streaming, usb input flexibility and the rest. As a longtime customer I would appreciate that you catch up to the modern WiFi and internet age.
