Cancellation

I cancelled this app circa 30 May after your free week. I can see you keeping the $4 for a month charge but not the whole year. You offered me a free week then I cancelled several days after my free time was up. Only used the app in my free week then the deadline slipped me.

Says my cheap, plastic , poor metal jewelry is worth lots of money

Claims cheap metal to be sterling silver and values my low end jewelry at high values and false information.

Wonderful, informative and fun app!!

On a whim, we wanted to see how much some of our family “heirlooms” would be. Some shocked us and some make us laugh. Thanks for this detailed app!

Items

I need to write a review for sure, I did download the antique snap or whatever it’s called app, but I do not want it. I want to cancel it. I do not want it. I don’t want it. I don’t want it. I don’t want it and I don’t wanna be charged 35 or 39 or however, much to do a month I can’t afford that and I wanna make sure you know I do not want to be charged for any of this I thank you very much

Beginners Set to Sell

This process is designed to have an individual owner of materials, collect price and box the pieces they would like to be managed by others in the actual selling process.

People managing this process are focused on cash sales provided by the inventory manager.

Highly Recommend

Exceptional pricing on a large array of items. It’s quick and it stores whatever you choose to store. If only there was a way to link saved items to an eBay account. That would be awesome.

So far so good

So much of collections is leaving them behind. This program has really helped organize to sell. SIM

Good app but.. still charged me even though I canceled.

I canceled my subscription one day into my subscription and still got charged.

The power to know your eirlooms worth is more then scrap price

The ability to get an appraisal in your very hands with out an appointment or having to send away is truly amazing and even more impressive is knowing your jewellery is worth more then scrap price

Antiqsnap

The best app I've found yet I absolutely love it.

Works for me

This app has identified makers even though the y are not pictured in the photo I took. It may not be 100% all of the time it is worth it to me. I found out that retaking the photo a couple of times helps to find satisfactory info. Then I delete the questionable ones.

Hidden fees

The app doesn’t let you use it without paying.
Yet it doesn’t tell you until you download it.

No-Go

Die App nennt falsche Hersteller, Herkunftsländer, einfach alles wird verwechselt oder falsch erkannt. Preise sind auch voll überzogen, z. B zehnfache von dem Marktwert.

Response from developer

AntiqSnap is right on

I have found that 99.9% of the time this app correctly identifies the object I have photographed. Love this app!

Credit card required

Free for 7 days AFTER you agree to autopay and provide credit card information. Why not just be honest up front? If you need to scam for money from people who forget to cancel it doesn’t say much about the quality of your app.

Just got the app

Can’t wait to use it

Not Always Accurate

I have a houseful of antique, furniture, lamps and clocks, some inherited and others collected over a lifetime.
Sometimes, this app was spot on, as with a Chippendale slant-top mahogany desk or a George III secretary.
Other times, it missed the mark entirely. It told me an oak Davenport desk was burr (or burl) walnut. I’m no expert, but I know the difference between walnut and oak when I see it.
It said a Boston rocker for adults was a child’s rocking chair. The app appears to rely on online ads from antique dealers who may not know or misrepresent the items they sale.
The most annoying failure was that it misidentified a Victorian parlor lamp as a late-20th century reproduction because it found an ad for one on Etsy. It has been in my family longer than that. Oh, please.

Response from developer

Hi Wordsmith310, thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, and we're sorry for the inconsistencies you experienced with your beautiful collection. While we aim for precision, identifying unique antiques can be complex due to variations in wood grain or scale. For the best results, we recommend taking clear, well-lit photos of specific joinery, hallmarks, or textures and scanning from multiple angles. We would love to investigate these specific examples further if you could share the photos and scan details with us at support@antiqsnap.com so we can help improve your experience.
