Not what I had hoped for

I had hoped that I could share my findings with my siblings. I put over 200 items in a collection and was unable to share it with anyone. If there is a way , they don’t make it easy. I have also had many obvious incorrect results such as having a reproduction identified as an original. Also, the site does not save pictures of items that come up as not able to be identified. I have had to try again later and take another picture when the system is functioning better. The only reason I haven’t cancelled is because I need the information I have spent hours acquiring to date.

Not what I had hoped for.

I had high expectations which were quickly dashed. Results were listings from sites such as Facebook, Chairish, 1st Dibs, all of which are fine for the purposes of which they were intended. Not so much when you are taken there to *find*, among many listings, the one ā€˜like’ image/description matching your item.

A goodly percentage of ā€˜reference’ sites had broken links, were in a foreign language, or were ads. Descriptions provided by the app were sometimes inaccurate (example: ā€œEuropeā€ as place of origin for a clearly Early American piece) and were generally inadequate and light weight. Better results might come from TinEye or Google Search and doing your own research.

Love this app

Was able to look up items my mom had to see if they were vintage or not.
