Won’t open app

I have downloaded this app and it will not open just kicks me out every time. Have deleted it and reinstalled it a few times and still the same thing. I am on the iPhone XR

Can’t get past initial setup

App doesn’t explain how to pair devices together. Everything is a label; you can’t edit any text, so there’s no way to modify code to match another device’s code (I assume that’s how pairing works). Pressing the “Check paired device” button gives an error that says “Doesn’t connected yet” (might wanna fix that grammar btw). Overall, poor UX and the UI is probably just a bunch of labels with a vertically centered alignment constraint thrown on, which doesn’t look all that appealing.
