SPECIES SHEETS • Nest temperature and humidity, maximum colony size and queen lifespan at a glance. • Each species' activity drawn over a real day's sky, plus a seasonal calendar with diapause marked. • Behavior, defenses and foraging strategy. • Step-by-step founding, feeding, lifespan by caste and sizes to scale. • Share any sheet as an image or PDF. YOUR COLONIES • A nest panel with the time, sky and season, and one chamber per stage showing how many colonies you have in each. • Follow each colony from founding to maturity. • A journal with feedings, worker counts, photos, moves and notes. • A chart of your colony's growth. • iCloud backup: your colonies move to your new iPhone, no account needed. INTERACTIVE ANATOMY • Five illustrated plates: the whole body, the head, the mesosoma, the leg and the waist. • Tap each number to see what every part is and what it does: almost 50 parts explained. • Compare the waist of Formicinae and Myrmicinae, one of the first clues to identify an ant. CATALOG • Search and filter by region, difficulty and favorites. • Species from South America, North America, Europe and Asia, with difficulty ratings to help you choose your first species. GUIDES • Founding, feeding, diseases and parasites, materials, ecology, taxonomy and glossary. antKeep is free and ad-free. Your data is yours: it stays on your iPhone and in your private iCloud.
