FAQ
What is Anush?
Anush is a mobile application that provides AI-powered readings of coffee cup grounds, based on a 1,500-year-old Armenian practice. It generates insights from photographs of your cup's settled grounds.
How does Anush work?
After drinking your coffee, you take three photographs of the cup and its grounds. Anush's AI then analyzes these images to provide a reading, focusing on elements like general energy, the present moment, inner world, and specific symbols.
Are Anush readings permanent?
Yes, once a reading is generated and written, it is permanent and kept on your digital shelf. The app does not allow readings to be overwritten or second-guessed by the AI.
Does Anush store my photos?
No, your photos are not stored. They are sent to the AI for processing and discarded immediately after the reading is generated. Only the text of the reading is kept.
Is Anush available in multiple languages?
Yes, Anush is bilingual and offers readings in both English and Armenian. The voice and the practice remain consistent across both languages.
What makes Anush different from other divination apps?
Anush focuses solely on cup reading without advertising, social feeds, or streaks. It emphasizes the immutability of readings and the privacy of user data, with a unique AI voice tuned to feel inherited.
What is the age rating for Anush?
Anush has an age rating of 9+, making it suitable for younger users interested in exploring this practice.
What devices does Anush support?
Anush is currently supported on iPhones and iPods, allowing users on these Apple devices to access its unique cup reading features.
