Anvilspell: Word Puzzle

Anvilspell is a word game with a crafting economy. Trace a word across the grid to score it and clear the tiles. Or drag one tile onto an identical neighbour and forge them: two E's become a D, two D's become an F, and far enough up the chain sits a blazing Q. Each forge also heats the tile, doubling what it contributes to a word — up to eight times its face value. Every word you play spawns fresh tiles, and more of them the longer you last. Clear space to survive, or gamble that space on a bigger letter. Eventually the forge overflows. The question is only what you built first.
