I really appreciate how easy the UI is to update the widget text, especially on the Apple Watch app.
It only takes a few taps and the interface is designed in a way that actually makes sense. You can tell the developer knows how to work around a lot of the bugs that plague other apps, usually because of Apple's bad coding.

So useful
This is a fantastic utility. It's useful at a basic level - for example having a widget reminding me to buy milk or my hotel room number on my watch and phone. Its real power comes from its integration with Apple shortcuts. I interrogate a web API in an automation and - if the result needs my attention - I can not only change the text of a widget but also have it appear as a live event on my phone, watch and Mac. Amazing! So many potential uses.

It’s literally just static. Would be useful if you could have it update based on events, triggers, days, that kinda thing. But £4 to show a single fixed line of text is beyond a joke. Do not bother. Use scriptable

Great for what I need
I wanted this app just to categorize my iPhone screens, and it did exactly that. I had asked a question about a specific function, and they responded promptly. Although the app couldn’t fulfill my request due to iOS limitations, I still give it a 5-star rating because it still meets my needs, and the customer service is excellent!

Not displaying
Does not work for me, text not showing on Lock Screen. iOS 18.4.1 on iPhone 14 max pro

You have to add the widget to the Lock Screen. If the widget does not show up in the picker, try restarting your device.
Surprisingly useful!!
My wife and I recently had our first child and when she heads to sleep with our daughter, I occasionally miss important text message notifications from her. I'll have "announce notifications" on, not silenced and somehow I kept having to constantly look at my phone and manually check for messages. Sometimes the notification on the Home Screen would get pushed down so I would open the messages app just to be safe. Too often I didn't see a timely text message until later than I would have liked.
Enter Any Text to the rescue!!
I have a Shortcuts Personal Automation that sets an Any Text widget to the last message my wife sent me. Paired with a Lock Screen widget (for normal use) and even better, a Standby widget (for when I'm working or sleeping) I can take a breath and rest assured that the last message my wife sent me will *ALWAYS* be visible on my screen. It's so simple and so friggin effective and useful.
The only issue for me was that Shortcuts always wants to display a notification telling you the personal automation has just run. This was so annoying but I found out that you can turn off notifications for the Shortcuts app altogether via a tricky little route through Screen Time - google it if you would like to do the same.

Would be perfect with live activities

With live activities this would be the perfect app, I honestly kind of bought this app expecting its going to be added in the future. it feels like such an obvious feature to have for this type of app.

To Increase the number slides
There is a restriction to add only 10 slides. Can not be added more than that. Remove the constraint…

It took me a while to work out how to apply this app in a way I was vaguely happy with .

I’m guessing the widget did not show up in the widget picker. That’s an iOS bug and unrelated to the app. Usually a device restart fixes this.
