Not integrating with Siri well
When I ask Siri to create an alarm using AnyDayAlarm, Siri instead attempts to create the alarm using Apple’s standard Clock app. Because the requested alarm is for a future date, Apple’s Clock app cannot properly complete the request.
I then attempted to resolve the issue through Apple’s Shortcuts app. AnyDayAlarm does appear in Shortcuts and provides a “Set a Date Alarm” action. I created a shortcut using this action and configured both:
* Title — Ask Each Time
* Date — Ask Each Time
However, when I attempt to use the shortcut with Siri and provide a future date, AnyDayAlarm reports that the date has already passed, even though the date I am specifying is in the future. The alarm therefore is not created.
I have repeatedly attempted the setup and have confirmed that AnyDayAlarm is properly appearing among the available Shortcuts actions. The difficulty appears to be in the way the date supplied through Siri/Shortcuts is being interpreted or passed to AnyDayAlarm.
This is particularly frustrating because Siri integration was an important reason I selected AnyDayAlarm. The ideal functionality should be straightforward: I should be able to say something such as:
“Siri, set a future alarm for September 15 at 9:00 AM to call John.”
AnyDayAlarm should then create an actual ringing alarm for that future date. Users should not have to construct and troubleshoot a complicated series of Shortcuts simply to accomplish this.
Please investigate:
1. Why the Set a Date Alarm Shortcut action is interpreting a clearly future date as having already passed.
2. Why Siri does not reliably recognize a request to create an alarm specifically in AnyDayAlarm rather than Apple’s Clock app.
3. Whether the Siri integration can be improved so that a user can create a future-date alarm naturally by voice, including the date, time, and alarm title, without manually configuring a Shortcut.
Thank you. I like the concept behind AnyDayAlarm and would like to continue using it, but reliable and straightforward Siri integration would make the application considerably more useful.

You've correctly identified two separate bugs: (1) the date-comparison logic in the "Set a Date Alarm" Shortcuts action can incorrectly flag a future date as already passed, and (2) Siri isn't reliably routing alarm requests to AnyDayAlarm instead of the system Clock app. We're actively working on both and a fix is planned for an upcoming update. We'll also look at making the Siri phrase support voice-only alarm creation (date, time, and title) without needing a pre-built Shortcut.
