Does not perform as promised. Turns itself off because it can’t connect. Sharper Image should be ashamed for offering such a defective device.

all of those complaints are due to a little lack of usre manual clarity. The app works fine. You need to set it up properly by first downloading the app, let it use LOCation when using and important!!!allow it to see other devices on your networl. then turn on the camera, go to setting on the Iphone, select the camera, then restart the app if it was the first time. don't worry about a 10meter range and them collecting your info..lol

Product is useless and does not work
Downloaded app which for some reason requires my location services for the app to be on to work - red flag there. Device shows connected to network but the Wi-Fi toggle in the app keeps moving as if nothing has happened. Just keeps flashing to turn on Wi-Fi and restart app. I never get a picture or anything so I doubt it’s even connected. The Chinese are probably just busy in the background hacking all my info.

Y5 Not Working
My Y5 not working with this app on iPhone Pro Max 13. App is stuck at "Gathering Device Information" animation.
Total Garbage
Don’t buy…..Wish I would have see the bad review prior to me purchasing.. Tried every which way to get the device to connect and it will not ————as the previous review stated. There is no 800 number for help in the product manual or on Sharper Image packing paperwork …. So back it goes. There are scopes that plug directly into phones. Seems like an easier way to go.

App does not work
I have to agree with the other reviewer. The app does not function properly for iOS. There is no in app support and the faqs are neither helpful nor accurate. Caveat emptor !!
Probably the worst app/device I’ve seen in years
No problems selecting the app signal in the wifi, but the app never connects. Tried it on three different IOS devices.
The instructions in the app (there is no manual) are in broken English. It would have been nice for the developer to actually try.
I will be getting my money back - i expected more from a shaper image item. TOTAL GARBAGE

Garbage
Wifi won’t connect no matter what I try. Clearly this app is broken, prior version worked fine. Please fix it! I now have a pile of useless hardware.

Still doesn’t work
App does not connect to WiFi. Unable to return camera. Sharper Image should market better quality merchandise.

So bad. Used to work and now nothing works!
The previous version was usable, not the best experience but it is piece of workable app. Now app won’t connect to WiFi and nothing works! Stuck with a piece of broken hardware and software! Donot buy!
