What's New in AnyTube
1.2.0
October 5, 2026
AnyTube 1.2 makes the app smaller, calmer and fairer to try. • Reduced the bundled route database from about 683 MB to 144 MB while preserving every supported precomputed journey pair used by the core Tube map. • Added interchange aliases so equivalent TfL station identifiers resolve to the correct offline route. • New users now receive two genuinely empty saved-route slots instead of placeholder Home and Work routes that consumed the free allowance. • Added privacy-preserving aggregate funnel measurement that never includes station choices, routes, search text, journey details or location, with an opt-out in Settings. • Removed the first-launch cross-app tracking prompt and configured free-tier ads as non-personalised. • Added background status refresh for opted-in alerts when iOS grants the app time. • Removed the automatic inactivity paywall and reduced interstitial frequency. • Simplified the visible Pro choice to yearly with a seven-day trial or lifetime. Existing weekly subscriptions continue to restore safely. • Replaced dead Settings placeholders with a working Privacy & Analytics screen. • Added live, app-specific support and privacy pages.
