Epic Fail!!!
I love AOD as a CU, but their card management app is complete crap. The latest update logged me out, and I now can’t get back in. After entering credentials, the login button is dimmed. Hate the Card Controls app with a passion!!
Error message is the norm
About 4 out of 5 times I open the app I get an error message, even after reinstalling the app and with iOS completely up to date. Very inconsistent and frustrating especially when wanting to pay my Visa bill.
Missing advertised features
Update 5/20/2020: You can now pay your bill and see bill payment history. Transaction notifications are still missing but you can sign the card up for VISA purchase alerts to get those. Rating adjusted to 4*.
The app will let you see transactions (including pending ones) and set travel notifications as well as lock and unlock your card. You cannot pay your bill, setup transaction notifications, or use the comprehensive card controls shown in the screenshots. Hopefully this will be addressed in the future because those are great value additions for AOD’s cards. The app description says these things are included so maybe it was an oversight but I don’t have any choice but to take off stars for them being in the description and then not included. I will happily revise my review when this is fixed.
The app is otherwise adequate and Face ID support is baked in (you have to go into the settings and manually activate it). The placement of the lock button on the screen when you login is a lot more convenient than a number of other implementations I have seen. I appreciate the ability to lock and unlock my card as I please but if you can not implement anything else AOD, please implement transaction notifications.

Missing ‘make a payment’ option
Downloaded app for easy control of my AOD credit card and realized there is no option to make a payment, however, the functionality is advertised as available - it is not. It is a PSCU app, so it CAN be available, but it almost seems like AOD has not turned the function on. Same goes for transaction alerts and card controls.
Currently, I have to log into the desktop or mobile website to make a payment which is very inconvenient. Will update my review once corrected.
