Just bought an A77 camera to replace my GoPro hero session 5. App crashes as soon as you try and connect to the camera. Seems to have been like this for over 4 years and nothing has been done to fix it. I will be returning the camera for a full refund and getting another GoPro. You get what you pay for

Be careful on the cameras you purchase. I purchased the A80. V3.1.0.1-A. That they no longer support. I recommend going GOPRO. You Get what you pay for!
Keeps crashing
I bought and Apeman camera for my sons birthday but when trying to download the app so we can edit some adventure videos and photos it keeps crashing. Can anyone advise us what we can do??
A77 is not working
Got this for my birthday and I was so excited but when I did everything right it just started crashing every time I go on the app

I have the model A70 and when it asks for me to select a model it doesn’t have the A70 to choose??
So Many Problems
I’m not one to write “negative” reviews, but maybe it’ll spark some motivation to improve the app. I got an action cam to help me record my service prospect’s outings outings so that our trainer could see challenges and help us address them.
The first time I used the app, when I tried to download a video, it was taking a long time. It was a 3 min clip and was taking over 5 min to try to download. It said not to close the app, or the download wouldn’t work. Since it was taking so long, my phone also tried to shut off the screen several times. So, I tapped to keep it awake. In the middle of the screen is the “cancel download” button. You guessed it, I hit cancel download accidentally when it was at 86% downloaded.
I tried again. This time, the screen shut off from me not tapping it and the video file corrupted. Now, I couldn’t get the video at all, not even by redownloading.
It also deletes the full video anytime the card hits “full” while you’re filming. So you can’t leave it running if there’s absolutely any possibility of it filling up.
Even when none of those issues occur, I see “download failed” 10x more frequently than it working. I just want my videos to actually be usable 😭

Pointless app for a77
Don’t bother with this app it doesn’t even work, crashes constantly

I watched a video on how to pair my action camera with my iphone. They showed that an iphone can pair to my camera with this app. When I tried to pair my action camera with my iphone but never worked.

You better off buying a laptop and using it like that, trying to use the clunky app is terrible, it’s only supported for iPhone, not iPad?? Trying to get a file off is super slow when it works, and when it doesn’t, we’ll it doesn’t, just says that I have no files on it. Also why is a action camera connected by WiFi?? Bluetooth would have been 100 times better for something like this. I wish i didn’t cheapen out on a apemen instead of a GoPro which has much better support

Constant crashing
Please fix this app! I have the a77 and it works fine until it try to connect it then it just crashes it’s not like I don’t have enough storage or anything! Others with the a77 have the same problem please fix this issue

The app crashes as soon as you try to open it. Instantly crashes as soon as you open the app and won’t do anything! Poor quality. This app use to work great until the last year! DEVS needs to re work this app and I need to just buy a Go Pro so I do t have to deal with this.
