What's New in Apex Drift
2.1
August 11, 2026
100 STAGES. 10 BOSSES. The campaign now runs 100 stages across five sectors, with a boss every tenth stage. Five new ones join the ladder — Aurora Warden, Frost Leviathan, Crimson Juggernaut, Singularity and Quasar Siren — each transforming through three forms as you wear them down. DEATH ISN'T THE END OF THE RUN Reaching stage 88 and starting from scratch was never the idea. You now get two retries per sector: restart the stage you died on with a head start of upgrade picks scaled to how deep you'd gone. Spend both and you restart the sector — never the whole campaign. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Your run is saved at every stage. Close the app mid-fight, come back tomorrow, and CONTINUE puts you back with your level, your build and your hull exactly as you left them. KNOW WHAT YOU'VE BUILT The Armory now awards a pilot rank — Pro Pilot, Veteran Defender, Elite Gunner, Legend — earned from the upgrades you actually buy. Those purchases now show on every ship's spec in the Hangar, so you can see what you're taking into the fight before you launch. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Asteroid fields drift through every sector — the bigger ones split when broken • Real pilot names and colours on the leaderboards, plus a weekly board • Ship and boss introductions • Boss health bars now show the fight's phase at a glance • Armory rebalanced from top to bottom
