What's New in Apiary Assistant

1.4

August 28, 2026

FORAGE & BLOOM — NEW See what's in season near your hives. Pick a yard with coordinates and the app checks which nectar and pollen plants are both flowering this month and actually recorded growing near you — goldenrod and aster now, black locust and clover come spring. - "In Bloom Now" opens by default: plants seen near your yard, then everything else in season this month. - "Full Year" is one tap away — a year-at-a-glance grid showing each plant's bloom window, with nectar and pollen marked. - Now on the Today tab, so it's not buried in a menu. - Also on the web dashboard. PLANNER - The Overdue, Due Today, Upcoming and Completed boxes are buttons now — tap one to open that list instead of reading a description of it. - The Completed list shows your full history. CALENDAR - Tapping a date shows that day's reminders immediately. Previously you had to tap a different date and come back. TREATMENTS - Recheck and re-apply dates update themselves when you change the treatment or the amount. - Reminders created from a treatment now appear on the calendar with the rest of your work. SYNC - Deleted hives, apiaries, reminders and records stay deleted across your devices instead of reappearing. - Set a default apiary from the Apiaries screen — long-press a yard or use the menu inside it. POLISH - Consistent Done button above the keyboard. - Better contrast in sunlight and improved color-blind support. Thanks for the reports — several of these came straight from beekeepers writing in.
