This app is great for getting discounts on many things - I mainly use the gift cards.
Recently a discount code was not working for Garmin so I contacted customer service for the first time. Overnight they provided me with a new code that worked straight away.

I’ve saved a lot of money using APOD. Any issues I’ve had have been promptly and efficiently handled by the help team.

I have been using the APOD App since 2020 and have saved hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. I have never had a negative experience with APOD and highly recommend it to all friends, family and work colleagues. The cost of an annual subscription literally pays for itself and more every year with options that save members even more on already low prices at all the big brand companies, including some online stores. The benefits don’t stop with simple savings, there are opportunities for many veterans to find new jobs, outreach programs and so much more. Every year APOD hold a massive giveaway competition with a bunch of big brand companies that only subscribing members can enter and it’s completely free. I am a happy recipient of one of these major prizes and can attest to all of the great work they do there at APOD. It provides both a great platform for veteran families to gain access to helpful services and provides much needed financial relief for those buying both Birthday and / or Christmas presents. Does not work
True to register and fails to allow the keyboard to enter password. Deleted app, not worth the hassle.
Annual subscription
Having an annual subscription absolutely destroyed this app for me. Maybe still useful for people who use this all the time but for people like me that maybe use this a couple of times a year, it’s not worth it.

Australia the land where you as a veteran have to pay for a membership to receive discounts that should automatically be given to you without having to pay an annual fee. Funny how in America you do not have to pay for these rights as a veteran. Btw I have received more discounts as an australia. Veteran from buying and spending time in America than Australia. Not one place here unless it’s veteran owned will offer a discount of 50% or over. Quite sad that as a veteran you have to pay for discounts that aren’t even that good. In America you get free gym memberships. In Australia you get nothing like that. Oh wait if your police though you sure do get those benefits, police that are full of tyrants and do not make the same sacrifices we have made. Australians don’t care about veterans and this APOD app is proof of that. Why should I have to pay $30 a year for discounts that should automatically be applied to my gold card.

How about the fuel discounts are at a fast station that is at minimum 12 cents more expensive than most gas stations? Come on stop lying to us veterans. This is an app designed by whamen for whamen not men.

With our funding from DVA ceasing we had to introduce a small annual subscription fee of $29. Many parts of our App still remain free including veteran-owned businesses, and employment and volunteering. The $29 is quick to recoup with our grocery discount $800 per annum, fuel $200+ per annum, streaming service and electrical discounts (easy $200).
Quicker Order Fulfilment
Love the service; however, would love it even more if the purchase of gift cards (i.e. Woolworths) was instant rather than having to wait for the order ‘to be fulfilled’.
Sometimes the purchase(s) is (are) instantaneous while on other occasions I’m left waiting…

The APOD platform has been an absolute game-changer for our family. The range of discounts and offers available is incredible, from everyday essentials like fuel (our personal favourite!) to larger purchases that save us hundreds of dollars. Used to be free for all defence members and their families. Now is a subscription based service, if you spend a lot at the stores they offer you may make your money back, however issue is you can not see how much of a discount is on offer until you subscribe. Better price savings could likely be found just by speaking to the sales person and seeing if they offer a defence discount

Could this app GET any better
APOD is an amazing app everything works as it should and whenever a new update is released there is alway a couple of new features making this app incredibly easy to navigate, and the deals and offers are amazing, I think this has to be my favourite app at the moment. My opinion is that all veterans and current serving ADF members should definitely download APOD. Thanks APOD for all the amazing deals. Keep up the astonishing work.

Broken app
App is broken. Stuck on multiple screens (updating personal information and favourite categories)
Cannot get past either of these as the app freezes or the buttons are not working.
Have reinstalled multiple times and tried wiping my profile.
Please fix this as it is completely unusable for me.

No longer works
The app no longer works. It opens, and allows you to enter your pin, but then the home screen is non-responsive.
