No longer works with iOS26

My Apogee One no longer works with iOS26. The built in mic as well as the external one are no longer recognized by the iPhone nor iPad. Terrible. The app and drivers need an urgent update and fix.

Works with lightning only

I thought for three years that it wouldn't work at all but you'd just have to plug the lightning cable into your iOS device with the power supply connected at the same time, go to Settings > General > About > One > Find App for Accessory and go from there.. Doesn't work with USB connections though due to MFi certification issues..

Not fit for purpose

2 years since 1.12. App is just not fit for purpose, not up to the standards we expect from Apogee and symbolises a cavalier expectation of continuing support from loyal customers.

The hardware I use (One, Duet and Quartet) is great. The ones internal mic though is average and noisy. But whilst Apogee may have enjoyed a general reputations and mythology for high quality hardware the competition by no means lags behind any longer. This dreadful attempt of an app could just be the reason to move to another system completely. Apogee should be mindful that loyalty is hard won and easily lost. For example my experience of support offered by Audient is superb, as is UAD. Once the myth of that Apogee “sound” has been busted then why stay loyal? Not because of the quality of iOS apps that’s for sure.

Sort it out.
