I like it!
Fun to fly, reacts well. Would be better if you could set the view angle with a fingertip vis pointing the device, but other than that I think it is worth a buck
Fun!!
It took me three tries to land safely. Now I am making it my goal to see how much fuel I can land with. The graphics are awesome!
One suggestion: Include the Abort button. When pressed, it would jettison the descent stage and engage the AGS, just to give us the option of having something cool to watch after we badly screw up.

Apollo Eagle advice/praise!
This is one of my favorite space related apps that I have and you've done a marvelous job of letting the player experience what it was like to land in the moon. I love the real time sounds of the Apollo 11 powered descent and that it gives you all the critical data in order to safely land. It's simple yet intriguingly difficult. Well done! The one thing that I would potentially recommend for a future update, is it maybe have an interior cockpit view to land from. Best of luck!

Extremely Realistic Lunar Landing App
While most of the lunar landing apps are little more than games based on the 1970's Atari version, This app accurately recreates the flight dynamics and physics of the Apollo Lunar Module on its powered descent from lunar orbit to the surface of the moon. By altering thrust and pitch the pilot is able to control the descent while being fed the critical data of pitch, forward velocity, vertical rate of descent and remaining fuel level. The Lunar Module is faithfully and beautifully rendered and the player is treated to different views simply by rotating the screen all with a background soundtrack of the actual lunar landing from Apollo 11 on July 20th,1969. This mighty little app is the rare combination of lessons in orbital mechanics, Newtons Laws of physics, and history, all wrapped in an entertaining package for just $0.99 cents

Amazing
12-15 minutes of being tense hoping I can shoot the landing! 2nd try landed it! Awesome game! Needs to be a little more zoomed out.
Great game!
Very fun and challenging, difficult even after a successful landing. The description is right the key is controlling forward velocity and adjusting your powered descent and thrust as the LEM becomes lighter from less and less fuel. Game is well worth the download and although simple does have replay value. I'd like to see further updates allow longer powered descent and lift off and re-entry descents as well.

Worthless now!
Whatever changed during the last update has ruined this formerly enjoyable app. Pitch controls are now WAY to sensitive, and the Thrust controls ONLY operate at Full (100%) or Minimum (10%), there is now no capability to moderate thrust levels. Issues occur on iPad 1(5.1.1). Works fine on iPod 5th gen (6.0.1). Please fix for iPad.

Very Fun
Overall it's a very fun app but just needs the rocket fire textures to be better and support for iPad.
Great App!
Very challenging, yet addictive. This game is a real treat for Apollo enthusiasts!
Best Luna lander ever
I agree with other reviews here and would also pay 10 for other views and re docking as well. In case you don't know and have this, hold your phone over your head to see the earth. I just found it today. So I wish swiping the screen for views was in this game and colorbrate for the views. But no matter what. Kicking sim. Please add in game purchases. Like re docking.

I recommend
Fantastic app. Great graphics and a fun sim. I want more types of missions from this designer
Excellent lunar de-orbit and landing simulation
This app provides an excellent simulation of the descent from lunar orbit to (with enough practice) a soft landing. It allows the player to experiment with, and eventually understand, the trade-offs that have to be made between thrust and pitch inputs, versus the resulting (and complexly interrelated) conditions of vertical rate, forward rate, and altitude. (The designer knows how to use his differential equations.) The controls are as close as you can come on an iPhone to the actual lander controls for pitch and thrust. An option to play at a higher dificulty level with obstacles in the LZ (just like the boulder field that Armstrong & Aldrin actually encountered & had to avoid at the last minute) would be a terrific addition. I'm looking forward to another, future addition: ascent from the surface and back to the CSM in orbit.

Fun, but needs more
This app is definately the best moon landing game i have!, However, a few aditions could be nice. Like reorbiting to the csm, and actually making it possible to do the full landing! Last, a soundtrack to the game would be cool. AWESOME APP ;-)
Final Frontier
Excellent value in this game. It's clear the developer did his homework. The controls are very responsive. It would be nice to able to erase the landing scoreboard. Definitely worth a buck, probably a little more, especially compared to some of the very weak Apollo "simulations" available in the App store. Well done!

Great game
Really fun ap. I'd buy a future version that included more features. Lateral guidance and a targeted landing zone would be cool.
Great Sim
As a big Apollo fan this is one of the best sims thus far. As for improvements you can only go up. Actually that was a pun. Would be great to take off from surface and dock with CSM. Another plus would be the ability to change views to inside looking out.
If you could make these part on next release I could see this selling at over $10.00. At least I would pay that much as I beloved would true sim lover would. Great job... Buy this one, you will not regret it. As for the person who said thrust did not work, they have a iPhone/pod issue. I have seen no problems.

Excellent
Could have more features but this app gives you an idea how hard landing the LM was both for the guidance system developers and the astronauts (yeah, most of the landing was flown by the guidance system).
needs an update
This app could be fun if it worked. for some reason the amount of thrust you have seems to make no difference. For example you can be putting the thrusters at 100% in the oppisite direction that you are traveling but it still won't slow down the lander. I hope they have an update to fix these problems. But until there is an update I don't recommend buying it.

This game rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE this game!! It is a very good simulation. I really like slowing down and landing. It is neat to try and beat my high scores of forward movement, feet per second to be the slowest possible at touchdown, and fuel pecentage left. It is very nice to pause the game when needed, even though each landing only takes about 12 minutes. I like using the gyrosensor to view all aroung the lunar lander. Great game!!!
One suggestion for the next update is to make boulders and craters an option for difficulty levels. Mabee make it possible to view landing from inside the cockpit. Other than that, this game can't be beat by any simulator out there for iPod touch and iPhone. Thanks!
