What's New in Apollo MIDI Controller

2.2

February 2, 2017

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Version 2.2 adds configurable pads, which can send notes, chords, or MIDI CC or PC messages. On the iPhone, there are ten banks of ten pads each. With the split-interface configuration of the iPad, there are two sets of these pads, for a total of two hundred configurable pads.

Worked great….now crashes!

It worked great….but on iPadOS 17.51 it crashes and does Not open….
Please fix it….thank you for this great app.

Simple and robust

I find iOS Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI connections incredibly flaky and, according to forums, I’m not on my own.

Apollo has been robustly connecting my old and new iPads so old iPad can MIDI remote things hidden on the other… effectively doubles my screen size, so that I can see into back of my newer iPad.

Stays connected for hours at a time. Simply fabulous!!

Wait a second - obsolete

Apple has already integrated Bluetooth over iOS - making this kind of obsolete (in my opinion). Sorry if that's not correct, but right now I'm wishing I didn't make the purchase so quickly (and that they hadn't jacked up the price from what it was before...)

A winner from a family of winners

Another great app from SPD!
It allows me to use my iPad and iPhone as an integrated system. This has greatly changed and improved my workflow.
Thanks again for this!

Another winner from this Dev

Another fun to use music making superstar app. I thought infinite looper was amazing and how can a developer come out with more so fast. Well here it is. There is a handful of iOS developers that I consider to be superstars that are honest, hard working, open to criticism and suggestions, and super talented that only come out with fantastic apps. This is one of those developers. I won't list the others because you will surely find them by reading mobile music blogs and web site reviews and watching YouTube app reviews.
