About

Pause before you scroll. BreathScroll is a mindful app blocker that turns every impulsive tap into a calm breathing pause — block Instagram, TikTok, and the apps that pull you in. Every time you reach for the social app you didn't really mean to open — Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube — BreathScroll meets you with a breath. Not a block. Not a guilt trip. Just a moment. And the more you meditate, the gentler that moment becomes. — How it works — 1. Choose the apps that pull you in. 2. When you tap one, BreathScroll invites you into a breathing pause. 3. Pass through the pause, and the app opens for a few minutes. 4. Meditate daily, and tomorrow's pauses get shorter. — What makes it different — Most screen-time apps are built around restriction: lock, schedule, punish. BreathScroll is built around intentionality. The friction is always there — but it's calm, not aggressive. Meditation isn't how you earn more screen time. It's how you train yourself to need the friction less. — A daily practice — Set a meditation goal that fits you, from 15 minutes to two hours a day. Keep your streak alive on the Home Screen widget. Notice your pauses get softer over time. — Honest about how it works — BreathScroll uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs. When you tap a blocked app, iOS shows its system shield first; you then open BreathScroll for the breathing pause. We can't intercept in place — but we believe the small extra step is part of the practice. — Privacy — We don't see which apps you block, how often you open them, or what you do inside them. Apple's Screen Time APIs keep that on your device. — BreathScroll Pro — BreathScroll requires a subscription to access all features. Start with a free 7-day trial. After the trial, your subscription auto-renews at the selected plan price until cancelled. Available plans: • Weekly — billed weekly after the free trial • Monthly — billed monthly after the free trial • Yearly — billed annually after the free trial (best price per month) • Lifetime — one-time payment, no subscription Actual prices are shown in the app and on the App Store, localized to your region. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase • Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the selected plan's price • Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions Terms of Use: https://www.theacorn.studio/breathscroll/terms Privacy Policy: https://www.theacorn.studio/breathscroll/privacy Questions? breathscroll@theacorn.studio

What's New in App Blocker

3.0

May 21, 2026

Strict Mode is here. You can now require your daily meditation goal before taking your first app break of the day. After you complete it, timed unlocks work normally for the rest of the day. This update also improves daily meditation goal handling so changes in Settings apply correctly to your next meditation session.
