Useful but

It would be useful if an uploaded PNG image with transparent background was resized for the landscape dimensions, I had to adjust some to ensure the image wasn't cropped.

Icons not round

The icons generated are not rounded. The icons I import in Xcode appear as squares and my app looks like a square...

NOT WORK

My image is big, bigger than 1024px x 1024px, however the application says: "The image you have uploaded is too small. The minimum size is 1024px x 1024px". I keep imagining the other apps that you produce.

Regret purchasing

File names are not standard and does not round the edges of icons to meet Apple design guidelines.

Hello The app renames the files to the sizes to make them easier to know which icon size needs to be added to which drop zone inside Xcode. As of the date of creating the app, Xcode does not require the app icon edges to be rounded for iOS apps, and Xcode in fact requires the icons not to have an alpha value, making rounded corners not an option. Please let me know if you have any other questions about the app. Thank you

Not worth it

The exported icon names are weird. It should be blabla-16, blabla-16@2x, blabla-16@3x, etc.

There shoud be a visual notification in the app when the generation of icons failed or succedeed.

I believe, there are better tools online, including scripts which you run yourselves and export your icons.
For instance, one I recommend is the "ios-icon-generator" on GitHub.

I had high hopes for this app, but it failed to deliver.

Hello Please see the latest version (1.3) of App Icon Generator that now has a checkbox to turn on this naming feature and now displays a notification to let you know when your icons have finished exporting. Last Update Broke It

This is a great app - takes time off creating all the app icons
one issue is since the last update every image says “Image is too small, needs to be 1024x1024 minimum” regardless of size (wouldn’t even take an image of those exact dimentions in any format) hope this is fixed soon

Awesome Utility

Its doing a good job. The only improvement I could possibly think of would be if it already created the Content.json so you could directly drop it in your asset catalog. Anyways, good util and it was free so what am I complaining about? Thanks for sharing mate!
