Love!!!

Probably my 2nd favourite app ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Garbage

Objectively bad. Bad service, bad music management, bad everything. Apple is just another malware provider now.

Improve Recommendations for Sleep Sound Listeners

I love using Apple Music, but I’d really appreciate an option to separate sleep and ambient audio from regular music recommendations. I often play things like white noise, ASMR, sleep sounds, or ambient tracks throughout the night, which means they get a huge amount of listening time. The algorithm then seems to treat these tracks as a major part of my music taste and mixes them into stations and recommendations alongside the actual songs and artists I listen to during the day.

It would be great if Apple Music could recognise sleep/ambient audio differently, or offer a setting to exclude certain playlists or listening sessions from influencing recommendations. I’d love to be able to use Apple Music for sleep sounds without having them constantly appear when I’m trying to listen to my normal music.

Pushed options

I hate Apple Music. Pushes options and makes good music hard to find. Siri is awful. I hate hate hate Apple Music.

Plays music when I don’t want it to

I don’t even use the app and they made it so it plays their terrible music when I don’t want it to. Like when I tap my AirPods to pause my music from other platforms.

Albums

Why are soo many older albums incomplete?

Please add a sleep timer

Good app, but I do wish it had a timer option so I can listen to music while falling asleep and wake up with my phone still at a usable percentage.
Like Apple Podcasts sleep timer would be perfect

Amazing

When I first got this app it was hard to get used to but after a few days it was perfect. It was very easy to find songs that I like. It also comes up with playlists for you with songs you listen to

A disappointing experience for long-time Apple users

I’ve been using Apple’s ecosystem since 2007, and I’ve spent years building a large personal music library from CDs I’ve purchased and imported into Apple Music. This isn’t a small collection, it’s thousands of albums that I’ve carefully organised, tagged and maintained over many years.
Unfortunately, Apple Music has become increasingly frustrating for people who actually own their music.
The biggest issue is syncing to iPhone. Compilation albums and albums with multiple artists that are perfectly organised on my Mac can become fragmented on my iPhone, with individual tracks appearing as separate albums. I’ve tried correcting Album Artist information and other metadata, but this only fixes some albums.
Album artwork is another ongoing problem. Artwork that is correct on my Mac can disappear, be replaced with artwork from another album, or become incorrect after syncing. Even Apple’s “Find Album Artwork” function frequently selects the wrong artwork for albums, just selecting something with a similar name.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that none of this was a significant problem with iPods or earlier generations of iPhone. Apple built its reputation on making the iPod the best way to carry your personal music collection. I don’t understand why that experience has become less reliable as the technology has progressed.
I appreciate that Apple Music is now heavily focused on streaming, but there are still customers who have invested years and a significant amount of money building their own music libraries within the Apple ecosystem.
I’ve been buying Apple hardware and services since 2007. Where is the support for those customers who bought into the ecosystem and built their lives and media libraries around it?
I don’t expect Apple to prioritise every legacy feature, but accurately syncing my own music, preserving album groupings and displaying the correct artwork should be a fundamental function of a music library app.
Please don’t make customers with large personal music collections feel like second-class users simply because they don’t subscribe to Apple Music.

🍎Music is the only way

For listeners AND artists Apple Music is the choice. I have to add, I’m not getting paid by the amazing company of Apple, to state the obvious facts as I have presented earlier. Off Apple slid me a few bucks here and there as an Vastly Overqualified products review inspector

4.99/5

lower the price and honestly i feel like it would be goated

Getting ridiculous

The price for Apple Music is getting absolutely ridiculous. Within a year’s time it’s jumped up $5.00. There’s no excuse for the stupidity. Not to mention they keep taking songs off my library and I can’t get them back. I had music on there before it was Apple Music and they completely stole music off my list that I payed for from iTunes

Great

It has been great and I have never had a single problem with it except it started not playing any of my music a couple days ago… it just randomly stopped playing my music and even when I redownload it, it just doesn’t play when I keep pressing the song to play

price

expensive ahhhh mf

Hope your well

Easy to use and select artists. Enjoying the strength of our younger generation like world issue.
