Please Fix The Scrolling
Will Apple ever fix the scrolling issue in articles that seems to be caused as ads load while scrolling? This has been a problem for a long time. I pay good money for News+ and I love it but for this. It makes me lose my place every article because it will suddenly jump to a different location as a I scroll. I’m using a new iPhone 17 Pro Max with latest OS.

Apple News Is Very Left-Biased
I really wish that Apple news was more fair and balanced. Your stories are our 90% on the left and against our country and our president. Also, they have so many advertisements that is getting ridiculous to try and read the article.
Too US centric
The USA is just one country. I want more from the rest of the world.
So Close to Perfect
I’ve used this app for years now and don’t see myself using any other app. The subscription gives me magazines, and the articles I have access to without hitting another paywall make it all worth it. However, somehow after the ads were introduced I’ve had glitch’s once I scrolled past while reading. It jumps me a few paragraphs forward, and it’s happenings frequently now that I find it frustrating to use the app at times. This is remedied if I go to my tablet, but who wants to carry that around all the time?

More variety
This app has a glitch that causes the screen to jump pages ahead while reading a story and also while scrolling through the main page. Please fix the glitch! It also has a lot of repetition in the stories it presents. Please fix the algorithm. I would like to be exposed to new stories rather than repeating the same things I have already read over and over. You can do much better Apple. Especially considering that I pay for the service. Also, to that end-why do I have to tolerate loads of ads when I pay money for this app. That is BS and you know it!

Most of the articles you all post on line we would have to have a prescription to read them,when is enough is enough we only have so much money.

Grouped Articles Often Wrong
For the most part it’s ok but I wouldn’t pay for it if I didn’t have Apple One. My biggest complaint is that their software that groups articles into categories is often wrong. For example I follow the Star Trek feed but when they show grouped suggestions there is often one or two totally unrelated articles in the group. It seems to like Dancing With the Stars so maybe their AI bot just throws anything with “star” in the text into the Star Trek category. Weird and annoying. I hope someone at Apple will see this and fix it.

Great to have subscriptions included but needs more diversity
It’s more a problem with our entire media ecosystem than with Apple News specifically, but the lack of diversity in the news feed in really pretty stark, especially ever since the Telegraph came on board. It’d be great to see Apple doing more to support quality independent journalism and bring a greater range of local, human authored, well researched writing in, with accurate headlines that honestly describe the stories they represent.

Great. Algorithmic needs work.
I’ll use the thumbs up rating feature and actively block certain articles I don’t like, however I still find myself seeing junk content. Other than that it has a great UI.
Click bait and ads everywhere
I get access to this app because I’m subscribed to apple one. Initially I was happy with it, but noticed that over the years, the quality of the news declined, everything is presented with a headline that sounds like a click bait pop-up and then advertisements in the middle of whatever you picked up to read. I’m opting for ignoring this app, I feel very disappointed. Suggestions: get a better news curator team and please remove the ads, don’t we pay enough subscription fees?

Why ever offer a free one there’s nothing good to read in those. I already took a mortgage out to afford the iPhone plus paying for Verizon’s astronomical fees for a service that’s subpar at best. But yes please give me more options to further my debt.

Great but wish a few things. Wish you could permanently hide/unhide suggested stores that you block as I have a bunch of blocked images for outlets I detest and can still see the headlines. If I block daily mail why would you force me to read headlines from it. Same for audio stories. Don’t force me to see stores I choose not to engage with by blocking. You can have the option to show all that toggles and it would be immensely better.
