Ever since the new iPadOS 27 update, the crossword puzzles freeze the app.
Miss leading articles led to phishing
Poor vetting of publishers and articles leading to a flood of phishing messages and emails! Can’t block your favorites sad fluff articles.
Don’t trust any news source
All the news business does is stir chaos and never tell the honest truth and the same can be said about all the government of the world. They see chaos as way to make money by turning people against each other. And they literally have the power to bring peace to the world, but they don’t. Next time you read a newspaper or watch the news, always remember to check the facts before jumping to conclusions.

I scan the Apple News headlines for National and local news to stay current. So many sources are pooled, excellent news!
One step to the Right
Apple thinks it is balancing News coverage by moving one step to the right in its click dance for Ratings. To your content producers their hair must be on fire from your shocking change. Most normal people laugh behind their hands at what you consider monumental movement. Your crew of woke children mirror what they were taught to spew and nothing more.

So many of the stories are locked by pay walls that the question is- why claim that this is a news service? You should really be ashamed of your venality.
Glitchy & pushes subscription hard
Frequently displays "Poor internet connection" warning when my internet speed is 100Mb and all other apps are fine. If you don't plan to subscribe, you'll be pushed a lot of content that requires subscription.
Utter twodle
Limited meaningful news from authentic news services. Endless silly articles along the lines of “I am a X , these are the things you should never do/take/whatever”. The subscription version is no better than the free version
Terrible connection issues
It’s a very well thought and easy to use news solution. Unfortunately, it suffers from routine inability to ‘connect to the internet’. This causes you to have to open and close the app repeatedly. Or reboot your device. It a shame and should be an embarrassment to Apple who prides themselves on simplicity and reliability.

Good but jumpy
Apple News does a nice job of accumulating and presenting articles, and the feature that prompts the last article being read before switching out of the app is very useful when returning to the app. However the app will jump around an article when the ads change within the article and land at a random spot. You’ll then need to backtrack to find the spot where you left off, if you can remember where that was. It’s annoying and unnecessary and happens frequently.

Free news only please
So annoying that you can’t turn off the news + stories from showing up in the quick view. Also even more annoying is that half the time the ‘news +’ notifier isn’t showing up on the story so I click it and nope, sorry, you can’t read this unless you want to pay a ridiculous amount each money. So dumb!!!
