Clunky and Ad Filled
At its base it’s a decent app. But notifications always open to a blank screen that goes nowhere, the UX is broken a lot of the time and is super dated, video autoplays and stays open when you close the app without ever hitting play. The ads are ridiculous - I get you have to have to support the news but just tons of misleading garbage.

Issues with Weather
Very good news app but after recent update on iPad ever time I attempt to open the 10 day weather forecast it closes the app out. Not much good if can’t see the whole forecast

An ad on startup
I’d been using this app for a while, but they suddenly decided I needed to go 120 miles to sit on Santa’s lap. They nag about it before I have a chance to see what the headlines are. I’ve using the KNDU app for the last month and am starting to prefer it. Maybe if YTN got rid of their nag ad, I might switch back.

Ad pop up
This app has an ad pop up at the bottom of screen making it impossible to share stories with friends because ad covers up share tools.
Age of articles
I find reading an article and suddenly realizing it might be several weeks old, very irritating.
New version works!
This update is a new version and format, works a lot better. Wish they had the live cameras they have in Yakima and the Tri-Cities.

News coverage is lacking content.
There are many news worthy stories that I personally witness during my days of travel in the inland northwest that simply are not being reported on in this application. And then there is the lack of coverage of Obamas's Blanco de casa shenanigans.
Yakima news
Looks to me like the Yakima news has gotten better and the App it self has improved.
