Best Minimal Launcher

Look no further. Best minimal launcher with no data collected and no strings attached.

Response from developer

Thank you so much 🫶

Fantastic App!

I heard about AppList through a couple productivity YouTubers, and I’m so glad I found it! Discouraged by how I was using my phone and the effects it was having on my time and wellbeing, I was looking for a “dumb phone” app to reduce my phone use. I initially chose AppList because it’s free and because of the “no data collected” privacy policy (they can’t misuse my data if they never collect it in the first place!). The ability to convert apps to words is powerful. I personally found that replacing a service (like “iMessage”) with a action/verb (“Message”) adds a layer of intentionality to how I interact with the service. The minimal design of AppList and the ability to name apps whatever I want has significantly decreased my screen time stats. The dev is super nice too. I emailed with a suggestion and he actually responded and implemented a solution. What a madlad. Remember to tip your indie dev y’all!

Made my phone super minimalist

Love this app, I have a really minimalist home screen now and it’s the best

Response from developer

Thank you, glad you are enjoying the minimalist movement!

really wanted to love this!

i’m so bummed because i really wanted this to work but after attempting multiple times and following the directions and double checking, the widget never fully took over my screen.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for taking the time to write feedback and apologies if the instructions are not clear enough. For your app list to take the fullscreen, you will need to do the following: 1. Have at least 7 to 9 apps in your list 2. Add a second AppList widget to the Home Screen (page 2) If this doesn't help, feel free to message me directly here and we can try to figure it out together: applist@sxp.studio
