outdated and not updated
I don't mind that they've gone free with this app. What I do mind is that the app is not updated anymore and none of the information is up-to-date.
In terms of the former, It used to have a very readable format, and now it just has the text and graphics in small print with video files that no longer work.
In terms of the latter, nothing is updated anymore. The lists represent very good advice for FOUR YEARS AGO, but it is increasingly less relevant. This is a pity because they keep the website up to date, but the companion app (AppAdvice) and this no longer connect to that new content. :-(
They should at least point to updated articles.

Doesn't work for this iPad
Neither this nor AppAdvice another product from the same people will work for me. Maybe the server is down? Whatever, no five stars here, no two star either.

Great for beginners!
Didn't think I would need the app. But the visuals were pretty captivating and I ended up learning more than I thought. Great app. Hope they come up with more π
Last update - more than a year ago
I just ran through the entire appstart guide--some info is old. Apps are constantly being modified and these changes should be reflected in appstart more frequently.
Would LOVE an update!
I recommend this app to all my friends who are new iOS owners. Itβs getting a bit βlong in the toothβ though. How about an update?

Not easily understood
I don't really understand what it is trying to accomplish. The same old stuff has been on the app since I first got it...,no refreshes, no new app reviews, nothing changes.

Apple needs to be aware the Ipad / IPhone is a global product, not just aimed at the US market. All recommended apps are priced in dollars and not pound sterling or any other currency. The idea of Appstart is very useful for the newcomer to Ipad/IPhone in understanding the systems. Please rectify monetary problems and this app would be a global hit.
