Die App funktioniert bei mir nicht mehr. Hatte die Lebenszeit Variante gewählt. Hatte dies schon mal hier geschrieben jedoch hat Apple meine Bewertung gelöscht.

The app works well but...

The only problem is that the cpu values are not being calculated correctly outside of that it serves well to connect it via VPN and monitor the entire computer

Hi Jpwoekfnsj, Good catch, and it's fixed. The old app read the CPU figure straight from the API without weighting it by core count, so a busy single-core guest and a lightly loaded 16-core node looked similar. Aprox 4 computes cores actually in use against cores available, per node and cluster-wide, and shows both the instantaneous figure and the history. That's part of a full rewrite: 2FA/TOTP and API-token login, a built-in VNC console, snapshots, backups and restore, clone and migrate, hardware editing, a cluster-wide dashboard covering capacity and commitment, alerts, widgets, and a native Mac app. If a number still looks off, please tell me at github.com/mKenfenheuer/aproxapp/issues. — Maximilian

Praktisch, aber stürzt ab, sobald man Backupjobs konfigurieren will. Die Pro Version hat sich nicht gelohnt.

Update dringend nötig!!!

Ich hatte die App davor ein paar Monate genutzt.
Sie ist zwar öfters abgestürzt aber hat funktioniert.
Das Design ist auch noch mehr besonders Zeitgemäß.
Dann hatte ich 2fa auf meinen PVE aktiviert, nun kann ich die App leider nicht mehr nutzen, da sie 2fa nicht unterstützt.
Es gibt viele gute Alternativen wie ProxMate oder ProxMobo
Daher kann ich die App nicht mehr empfehlen.

Doesn’t connect

Cannot get this to connect to my environment and the connection attempts never seem to timeout either. Makes it useless to me unfortunately.

Hi BLanczak, A connection attempt that never times out is a bug, not a configuration problem — and it is fixed. Aprox 4 has a new networking layer: every request has a real timeout, failures surface as a readable error naming the cause, and self-signed certificates get proper certificate pinning instead of a silent hang. Login now supports 2FA/TOTP, API tokens and custom realms. Also new: a built-in VNC console, snapshots, backups, clone and migrate, hardware editing, a cluster-wide dashboard, alerts, and a native Mac app. Settings › Diagnostics collects a redacted log if a connection still fails, and Report an Issue files it at github.com/mKenfenheuer/aproxapp/issues for me to look at. — Maximilian

Seit Pro Kauf schlagen alle Verbindungen fehl

Ich hatte die App von Zeit zu Zeit verwendet um ein Auge auf damals eine Node zu haben. Soweit so gut. Aus der einen sind vier geworden und ich wollte mit der Konsole interagieren also das Upgrade gekauft und tada. Alle Verbindungsversuche mit dem Server schlagen fehl. „Attention! Error while communicating with server: The operation has timed out.“ Ist nun mein Leben. Haben sich die 8€ ja richtig gelohnt…
Die App muss dringend wieder auf Vordermann gebracht werden

Bien para ver recursos pero ya

Va bien para mirar los recursos y su estado así como estadísticas. Compré la versión pro pero no vale para nada. La quería para conectarme por consola pero no funciona, la pantalla se queda en blanco. Mirando en internet es algo común, una lástima…Solicité la devolución, si se arreglase la funcionalidad volvería a comprarla.

I loved this app

I purchased the pro upgrade about a year ago now. When I was managing my Proxmox server fairly often in my homelab, this was my go-to. Now, whenever I open my app on either my phone or iPad, I’m given multiple popups saying the purchase restoration was unsuccessful and the features I paid for (the one-time lifetime purchase) are no longer available. I tried finding contact information for the developers and can’t find any on their website or here in the AppStore. Hopefully they see this and can help me troubleshoot what’s going on because I’d hate to lose the money I invested in this platform or have to move elsewhere when this one is extremely convenient.

Hi jdlarrimo, Two things you were right about, both fixed. The purchase: repeated "restoration unsuccessful" popups came from the old receipt-validation code. Aprox 4 verifies entitlements through StoreKit 2 directly, with no cache that can go stale. Restore Purchases is in Settings, Family Sharing is on, and your lifetime purchase carries over — you are not paying again. The contact: there was nowhere obvious to reach me, which was my fault. There is now a public tracker at github.com/mKenfenheuer/aproxapp/issues, and Settings › Diagnostics › Report an Issue opens a prefilled report with a redacted log attached. Ohne 2FA nutzlos

Kein zwei Faktor Auto und so wie es aussieht gibt’s hier auch keine Updates mehr. Also kauft erst garnicht irgendwas.

Does the job, not perfect

I’m able to use this app to remotely monitor and power containers and VMs on/off. However it’s not the most easy to use app. The remote console function is very clunky.
Overall though it does most of what I need.

Alles super bis auf die Console

Moin,

Ich habe gern die 8 Euro für die Lifetime premium bezahlt, weil hier auch die Tasks ets mit angezeigt werden, aber die console geht nicht mit dem vorgeschlagenen Programm, weil realvnc keine username und Passwörter in der url unterstützt.

Gibt es hier ein Update, welches das Problem löst?

Sonst weiter so.

Soweit so gut, aber!!!!

Ist ein nettes Tool für meinen Proxmox Server. Leider stürzt die App beim anwählen des Backup Status ab. Getestet auf IPhone 13 und IPad. Wenn man die App öffnet und der letzte Bildschirm ist noch aktiv, lässt sich dieser nicht aktualisieren. Die App bleibt dann hängen. Der Programmierer wurde von mir schon angeschrieben. Leider habe ich aber nichts mehr von ihm gehört. 17.1.23 leider ist der Fehler nach wie vor vorhanden. 25.5.23 Anscheinend passiert hier nix mehr. Man sollte sich vielleicht besser nach einer anderen App umsehen.

Bin mal gespannt, ob unter Proxmox 8.0 mit dieser App überhaupt noch was geht, nachdem es ja unter 7.4 schon nicht richtig klappt.

Can’t access VMs using Console???

Any way to fix this? RealVNC doesn’t support username/password in the URL

Hi Stevestebo, Yes — and the fix is that Aprox no longer uses RealVNC at all. The old app handed you off to an external viewer that cannot take a username and password in the URL, which is precisely why it failed. Aprox 4 renders the VNC framebuffer natively inside the app: hardware keyboard, trackpad, an on-screen keyboard with modifier keys, selectable keyboard layouts. SPICE and serial consoles are there too, and on the Mac each console opens as its own resizable window. The rest of the release is a rewrite: 2FA/TOTP and API-token login, snapshots, backups, clone and migrate, hardware editing, a cluster dashboard, alerts, and a native Mac app. The on-device demo cluster has a working console if you want to check first. J’ai acheté la version pro (8e) sincèrement ça vaut son prix, mais il y a encore des features manquantes, (éditer les composants ou le nom) tant que ça ne sera pas réglé, je ne pourrais augmenter ma note.
Dommage car sincèrement, super appli !
