APSStatus delivers instant access to accelerator and beamline operational status for APS staff, beamline scientists, and facility users. STORAGE RING STATUS View live parameters including beam current, lifetime, top-up state, injection operation, fill pattern, scheduled and actual operating modes, and operator messages from the Machine Control Room. SHUTTER STATUS Monitor all APS beamline front-end shutters at a glance. Color-coded indicators show each shutter as open or closed, with beam-ready dots reflecting the Personnel Safety System (PSS) Station A search state. BEAMLINE VIEWS Select up to four beamlines for quick-access status pages. Currently supported: 02-BM (Micro-tomography), 07-BM, 12-BM, and 32-ID. ACCELERATOR SYSTEMS Choose up to four accelerator monitoring pages: • Vacuum system — sector-by-sector valve and gauge status across all 40 APS sectors • Liquid Nitrogen Dewar System (LNDS) — dewar temperatures, levels, and valve states • RF and Klystron data — RF system summary and klystron status • Power supply status — storage ring power supply summary and detail WEB STATUS PLOTS View live APS web-based status plots including the HD storage ring comfort display, beamline status overview, and weekly history. CUSTOMIZABLE LAYOUT Select the beamlines and accelerator pages most relevant to your work. Preferences are saved and restored between sessions. All data is fetched directly from APS operational servers and refreshed on demand with pull-to-refresh on every view.
