Paid for Pro Not Received

I signed up for pro. I was charged. It shows on my credit card. The app will not acknowledge it. Seems to be a very common issue with this company. Are they hoping people won’t complain to get what they paid for? I don’t understand how you do business like this.

Good concept bad execution

I’ve tried this app multiple times and it just isn’t that good. I don’t have any suggestions or answers but the app is more annoying than anything. Would rather just use Google if I have questions or need to figure something out.

Need help

I first subscribed with a yearly subscription and when I tried to add a 2nd aquarium it kept telling me I needed to subscribe. I checked in the App Store, my bank, and my iCloud account and all showing I was charge and indeed subscribed. Now after waiting a week after submitting a ticket with devs. When I try to login I keep getting, “type ‘Null’ is not a subtype of type ‘num’ in type cast”… so I went to iPhone storage and offloaded app and reinstalled and reloaded and it’s still not working. Can a Dev please help.

Paid for premium but it doesn’t work

When I first got this app thought it was absolutely fantastic and I still do think that it is a quite a great app for people using aquariums. However I have paid for the premium version and sent countless emails to the email addresses that are provided as well as the support team through the app in regards to what’s happening I seem to have a glitch and I cannot use any of the premium features even though I have paid the $59.99 per year to use this app. I didn’t want to have to write a review to potentially get a response out of the app creators but hear I am.

Beautiful distraction from the real world!

This is an app dedicated to the passion and love for our scaley babies and all the care we give them!

Pro not working

Paid for the pro subscription and I am told that my payment failed even though it went through and I can see that I have an active subscription. When I try to just purchase it again it tells me I already have the subscription.

Customer Service is Nonexistent

I had a billing question and contacted customer service twice and got no response at all. Seems like a good app however that killed it for me.

Helpful

Much welcomed aide for enthusiasts.

No help

Paid for pro subscription, ap never allowed additional features. Emailed developer,no response. Took my money.

Premium never worked after paying for it. No help from support

I bought the premium because it looked like a good app and I wanted the premium features. After purchasing it never worked, I have contacted support twice and have never heard back. Do not get this app

Asked for support didn’t get it

I just want this to remind me to do the ‘tasks’. But it doesn’t give me notifications. Opening the app every morning is not what I want to do. It’s useless for the one thing I want. It also doesn’t change the date for the ‘next due’ if I’m late doing a task. I need it to automatically put the next one x days after the day I logged doing it. The only thing it does is syncs through the cloud which is good since both my husband and I maintain the tanks. But for now we’ve set up Apple reminders which were a pain. Please make this work.

We have had multiple updates that should have corrected all of these issues for you. We apologize for the lack of communication due to the fact our comms were not working and streamlined. If you have any further feedback, please reach out to nathan@futrix.io. Thanks!

Love the app but

When I was using the ai, it said I needed to buy membership

Wanted to like it, but…

This app is well designed. It has that going for it. Great UI.
The UX however, not so much. Adding equipment to a tank is weird. You can’t add more than one filter or more than one heater to a tank. The inhabitants list separates males from females of the same species; why not just list “German Blue Ram (2m, 2f)” or something? Lists inhabitants by date modified, not alphabetical. Need a subscription ($60/yr) to have more than one tank. There are free apps that let you have unlimited tanks. Their fish database has incorrect information and pictures for many fish. Their database also has a suggested male/female ratio for every type of fish. That’s important for African cichlids…but not neon tetras (and I challenge anyone who thinks they can accurately sex juvenile neons). Their tank builder uses the incredibly outdated “1 inch of fish per gallon of water” rule, as it doesn’t take into account the bioload of the fish (a 6inch kuhli loach produces much less waste than a 3.5inch bristlenose pleco). It told me a 75 gallon, with 10 congo tetras and nothing else, would be overstocked. App has a ways to go. It’s back to Aquarium Log for me.

Response from developer

Thanks for the detailed review, John — we really appreciate it! 🙏 In version 4.7 (1.11), we’ve refined tank logic, improved database accuracy, and added an AI toggle so users can set up tanks their way. Multiple filters, heaters, and better sorting are in our upcoming updates. Your feedback helps us evolve!

AI recommended tank sizes are off

10 Chili rasboras need a minimum of 14 gallons? 10 neon tetras need a minimum of 28 gallons? Meanwhile 10 cardinal tetras need a minimum of 22 gallons. This app and the AI are shilling for Big Aquarium. I’ll stick to AqAdvisor.com

Needs more work

You can add fish and plants to your tank, but you can’t organize their names or put them into groups

Good but not flexible

Good fish tank app, with decent AI support. But it does not support Kaveman Aquatics flexible approach.

Honest review.

I enjoy the concept , but will you be incorporating all fish species? For example I see a lot of common fish like cichlids but I don’t see piranha groups. Please let me know if this is a group that’ll be added. Thanks 🤞🏽
