Love it

I love this app!

I’m new to aquascaping and have found this tool to be extremely helpful and insightful!

So glad I saw this app recommended in one of my fishy FB groups. I recommend it every chance I get!

Hi Rebel! Thank you so much for your wonderful review, it truly made my day! I’m so happy the app has been helpful as you begin your aquascaping journey. Thank you also for recommending it to other fish keepers; your support means the world to me. Happy scaping! 🐠🌿💙

Super helpful for beginners

It’s a new app, that the owner listens to users and is making tweaks/adjustments. Simple and easy way to track the water chemistry of your tank. Health features use AI to analyze pictures of plants and fish to give a diagnosis.

Response from developer

CJ, thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for all of your incredibly helpful suggestions. I’m actively listening, and honestly, many of AquaLens’ newest features have come from your ideas. I’m glad the water chemistry tracking feels simple and easy to use, and I’ll keep refining the AI health tools for plants and fish so they get even more useful over time. Really appreciate you being part of shaping AquaLens.

Game-Changing App

Clean, modern aquarium tracker with powerful features. Love having water parameters, livestock, and maintenance logs all in one place. Great for both beginners and experienced hobbyists!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I’m thrilled AquaLens is helping keep water parameters, livestock, and maintenance logs organized in one place. I built it to be useful for hobbyists at every level, so it means a lot to hear that came through.

Best tutor for a new tank owner

It’s amazing at diagnosing illnesses in fish, helpful with identifying fish and plants, amazing at predicting parameters and also been great at tracking feeding and dosing meds, fertilizer, etc. It relies heavily on AI but as an app in development, the creator is very responsive and fixes problems quickly. I will say, although it’s still in development, I’m still happy with the $ spent on it. Worth every penny for me. I’m hearing more experienced aquarium owners find it less useful, but as a newer tank owner it’s been invaluable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to hear that the app has been so helpful for you across all aspects of aquarium and fish keeping. That’s exactly the kind of support I hoped the app could provide. I also really appreciate your kindness and patience as the app continues to grow and improve. It’s still very much evolving, and thoughtful feedback like yours helps shape what it becomes. I’m always working to make it better, and hearing that it’s been worth every penny for you is incredibly encouraging. Thank you again for your support. I’m so glad AquaLens has been a valuable part of your aquarium journey.

Far too greedy on pricing

Went around asking for testers like crazy in all kinds of groups. Cool and all but $5 a month is crazy, when excel is free lol.

Response from developer

Thanks for trying the app and for the honest feedback. I understand $5/month won’t feel worth it for everyone, especially if your needs are already covered elsewhere. AquaLens is built for people who want a faster, more specialized workflow than a spreadsheet can offer, and we’re continuing to improve the value over time. I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

Still in development

This is someone’s project and it’s honestly really amazing with all the things you can do. This is definitely shaping up to be a solid 5 star tool for aquarium hobbyists. I am along for the ride! The only downside is that it relays so heavily on AI and it can be unpredictable with some of its conclusions but like I said this is someone’s project (AKA a work-in-progress). Shoutout to Dave and all his hard work!

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review and for being along for the ride. AquaLens has only been live for 23 days, and I’m building it myself as a hobbyist for other hobbyists, not as a big company removed from the aquarium world. I’m building it for the community and improving it with real feedback, so it will always keep adapting and getting better. What AquaLens is trying to do is incredibly nuanced, and I’m constantly refining how it interprets those patterns. Anyone can see the ripples in a pond. The hard part is understanding what caused them, and where they may lead next. That’s the goal with AquaLens, and with more people and more data, it keeps getting smarter and more accurate. Your support really means a lot, and I’m grateful to have you here.
