Old version was way better

I wish there was a way to get the old version back. Should have never updated. I definitely do not like the adjustment sliders not adjusting until you release. You should get real time feedback as you slide. Old app was way better. And took better pictures. At least on my phone.

Mudaram o programa

Utilizo o programa a anos, na última atualização acabaram com o programa. Eu simplesmente não consigo entender porque mexer no que era ótimo. Eu comprei quando era sensacional e hoje a decepção é total

Response from developer

New update is horrible.

This newest update basically broke the app and made it useless. So sad because this app was amazing before and nearly eliminated the use for coral lens. But the new update made the app basically garbage. The UI is horrible, and the color correction itself doesn’t seem correct. And doing the manual adjustments yourself to get it *just right* like with the previous version is now impossible. This is the definition of fixing something that isn’t broken. Very regrettable as the app used to be a very useful tool for me. It was great for 8 years.. why change it.

EDIT: He updated it to try and fix it, but it’s still terrible. Don’t download unless they revert to older version. Why’d they break it or want to change it, I still don’t know.

See what you think of version 4.0.3. I brought back the pieces that were good about version 3 and kept the full res and 4k video to boot.

Thanks for fixing the update

Thanks for fixing the issues with the update. The app is back to simple and quick to use. Highly recommend

Photos can now be saved directly to your photos library. It’s optional in case you want to leverage the gallery with iCloud. When you mean changing filters is it that the ring is too small? I’m thinking of adding a toggle that moves the controls to full screen.

See what you think of version 4.0.3. I brought back the pieces that were good about version 3 and kept the full res and 4k video to boot.

hi

The new version has additional features, but personally, I find the old version simpler and more user-friendly. If the old version is still available, I would like to download it instead

Response from developer

The ui in version 4.0.3 has been streamlined and simplified for usability taking all the best pieces from version 3 and keeping the full res and 4k video capabilities. Thanks for downloading and your feedback!

Update Renders App Useless

I work in the aquarium industry and take photos of corals all day long. I used the old version of the app for 2 years and it worked great; much easier than using a physical lens and I could quickly go from tank to tank with different lighting and have no issues.

I have been trying to use the new update to no avail. The auto feature simply does not work on a majority of the corals I am trying to shoot (the previous version’s auto adjustment feature worked fine). Photos are too dark and the camera will not adjust to the coral. I used to be able to fine tune the color settings, but the RGB and tint sliders on the new version don’t fix the issues. No matter what setting I am trying, photos are dark and under exposed.

Give version 4.0.3 as I think I’ve resolved all the issues you’ve raised but can’t be for certain until you give it a whirl. Also, if you’re happy to join our beta team as you’ll get access to all the latest versions and have a chance to have a back and forth. Thanks again for downloading and the feedback.

Why change

I bought this app and at first it was good and it really did help see my corals better in video then they updated there app and it’s a bit more frustrating to work with even though it is a bit more simple now and it doesn’t appear good anymore as before can barely see my coral and I didn’t change my lights at all ethier

Can you give 4.0.3 a shot? I think I figured out what is happening for you. Thanks for downloading and the feedback.

Used to be great , not unusable

New update ruined the entire thing. It no longer works at all. I’ve messed with the few settings it offers now and it does absolutely nothing for color besides blown out, or black with grays and grays

After updating

Now become not usefull anymore after updating.. which there is no yellow / orange lense filter.. hopefully get back soon

Response from developer

In manual mode for the lens filter, you have 32 lenses to pick from light yellow through dark red. Just slide your finger along the bottom of the black ring (you’ll see it defaults to #1) to change them and adjust the intensity below as needed. Let me know how you find it!

Nice💛💛💛

The latest version is very good to use, thank you very much for listening to the user's feelings!

Response from developer

So happy it’s swimming for you! Thanks for all the feedback.

Liked old version better

Liked the old version 10x better. Used it daily for my store. Not sure I like this new update. Can’t manually set the red, green, blue. Auto does ok but not great.

Latest version

The latest version is absolute trash compared to the previous version you can’t zoom picture jumps all over the place. It’s absolute trash. I’m now looking for a new aquarium app to take pictures. If they could revert back to the original version it’s way better.

Response from developer

I’ve found the bug with this and squashed it. Version 4.0.2 has the jumping fix you mentioned addressed. Super appreciate you id’ing this as I and like 250 other testers didn’t catch it which is crazy. Thanks so much again for downloading and the feedback!

Update killed the app!

I've been using this app for several years and loved it, but it updated and now no picture pulls up when you go into the app, just black! I've tried everything to get the camera to activate.... Nothing! 🤷‍♂️

更新后效果很差

Response from developer

Fixed in version 4.0.3. Make sure to update.

Hopeless

No instructions!!!!

Response from developer

4.0.0 has instructions baked in and coming with a UI redesign that you hopefully far more intuitive for you to use. But please let me know if you still have issues. Would love to make sure this works for your reef photography.

Poor Resolution

Using this on iPhone 17 Pro and very disappointed. Images are only 1920 x 1080 2MP. It doesn’t use anything close to the full resolution of the camera. Coral polyps indistinguishable at any distance. Don’t buy this unless the developer modernizes it!

Rod

Not worth it Rubbish
My original camera is better

Response from developer

Check out 4.0.0 and see if it doesn't help take things to the next level for you. The spoiler is that it now works with full resolution photography, users your native lenses, and shoots in 4k. It's also much better than before with finding the right lens filter to apply.

Marine aquarium

Amazing picture quality it’s definitely worth the one of payment. Great picture every time also videos

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the review! Glad you’re enjoying it. HD version coming soon!

Awesome App

I don’t usually write review but this app is so amazing I have to leave a review. The app does what it suppose to do, help coral show more coral under blue led and I also like how easy to use this app is, I can locate thing very easily. The only problem I have with this app is that whenever I record something and I watch that recorded video in the app it will stall and force me to restart the app but overall it’s a amazing app, worth the money
