App doesn’t work if you upgrade your phone
The app was wonderful last year. Worked great, despite the high price. It’s useless though, on an iPhone XS. You open the app, and the screen goes black. All the settings at correct. There’s no trouble shooting, and no way to get in touch with the creator, just a useless faq on the website. If you don’t have an old phone, don’t waste the money.

Dont access camera
Used and liked app but it does not access the camera on latest IOS

I used this app for several years and liked it. I recently went from an iPhone 7 to 8. I am no longer able to the app because it does not appear to be accessing the phone’s camera. I only see blackness overlaid with the usual countdown timer.
The same thing happens when I try to use the app on my iPad.

Does not work!!! Do not waste your money as I did!!
Bugs on iPhone X
This app has too many bugs. For example, on iPhone X the capture timer is erratic and starts counting down twice or more and gets stuck in a loop taking pics and firing off the shutter sound in a loop and I have to stop the app. Also, doesn’t appear to list 5 way test strips, so the results are flaky. I’d like a refund... $9.99 is not worth it.

Terrible app.
Selecting different points of the same square gives dramatically different results.
Developer seemed responsive at first, and offered a rebate. But once I asked for it he dropped off the map. No word after several emails. DO NOT SPEND $10 ON THIS!!!

Wildly inaccurate
Using the strips that are listed as working the color coordination on a 6s+ is not even close to what the chart says. Redoing the scan can change from very low to very high on various measures. Save you $$$

Some saved results did not show up immediately, but did after a while. Needs better documentation.

I replaced my stand alone digital meter with this App and it is much more convenient.

I always had to have my daughter help me Visually match the colors when testing my spa. This app makes the process so easy. I like the reminder too. Thanks AquaScan! :-)
