Works brilliantly!
Just installed and updated and having zero experience with pool controllers I’d say this was quick and intuitive. Great product make locally
Not working anymore
This app is useless now. It was great, but won’t work on my new Apple phone. Works on my older iPhone 13 but not on any higher.. developers need to update the app
Absolute garbage
Provided this feedback on the oasis app too, but it’s just a white label aquatek controller so posting here too.
Avoid getting one of these, get literally anything else not made by dontek. The list of inadequacies is incredible.
- The app takes up to a minute to connect if you’ve previously had it connected
- It has no ability to control both a pump and valve at the same time, so you can end up with a situation where a pump is on with no water going to it.
- There’s no home integration so you can’t use Google home/home kit/Alexa/home assistant, and the sales team has confirmed this isn’t on their roadmap for the foreseeable future.
- The spa electrics light integration is woeful at best.
- You can’t set a sanitizer timer (why?!).
- To turn a device on on the main homepage you need to cycle through On-auto-off, meaning you’ve got extra clicks to switch something on or off, and god forbid if you accidentally leave it on ‘off’ if you switch the filter pump on after hours, it’ll not switch back on the following day.
- There is no way of being able to control your jets/water feature etc from physical buttons in the pool as there is no spare inputs on it other than the single pump call trigger. You have you either jump out of the pool and switch it on from the controller or have your phone next to the pool (what could possibly go wrong!)
- Their support email goes unanswered even after months of waiting and follow up messages.
This is definitely just so they can say ‘we have an app!’ Avoid it at all costs.

Slow and annoying app
Takes forever to connect and doesn’t always connect to wifi easily. This app has done my head in with trying to control my pool from my phone. I really hope you can get this issue sorted asap
Works well.
Works well but the app looks extremely outdated I thinking adding backgrounds the people can customise would be good. Another thing I found it a little slow once I clicked things but that just be me. But yeah it’s been working well until for some reason it all just turned off like literally everything turned off.
