Terrible
The light looks nice when it wants to work. I don’t know if it me not knowing how to use the light or what but getting the light to ramp up and down with the right colors is frustrating I can never get it to look how I want and good luck trying to get ahold of someone for help to use the app their tutorials on their website are unavailable.

Stopped connecting with the app
Was good until it wasn’t. The light will NOT work without the app and the light will NOT connect to the app. I’d give it 0 stars if I could! NOT HAPPY! Will NOT purchase again!
Not giving WiFi password
Using this light manually with a timer, just like my old non-LED hood light. The app request for a WiFi password is ridiculous.
Add brightness to timers
I love the ability to control the light with my phone. That said, the timer function does not let you pick brightness and this feature would be nice.
Why do you need my WiFi
I liked the app at first. Set times, colors. Now you update and want to track everything? For a light. Ridiculous. App uninstalled and will use light manually. F this garbage.
Timer / schedule doesn’t work
The timer function works to activate the light in the morning but never to shut it down in the evening. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app several times and have ensured it’s up to date. This is frustrating given it should be a relatively simple function to perform. Overall the light function, brightness and modes work well.

Power Gone from Groups
The new update took away the power on/off ability from groups in All Devices. I have many lights included in multiple groups and now I can’t see which are on/off with outgoing into group individually to see the status.
confusing
This app is extremely confusing. I’m an app product designer myself and i have a very hard time trying to understand how to properly schedule my aquarium light to turn on and off daily. i’ve tried the schedule, i’ve tried ramp up on ramp down but it works sometimes? other days i wake up and the light never turned on and sometimes if it did turn on it shuts off mid day i have no clue how to use this app.

So about that automation
Not sure where to begin, is it the app or is it the light and the super dinky transmit module….either way, the connection is not good, trying to get the light to talk to my phone and connect to the app is painful and it keeps timing out during the process. I’ve tried laying my phone on the module, I’ve reset I’ve recycled I’ve done everything I could except for wrap my head in tin foil to squeeze out some reception. Help

App is barely functional
The light is ok. Not bright or diffuse enough to attach to the back of the tank as suggested. You definitely won’t get the results as they appear on the box. The app works when it wants to and often resets itself or goes offline. Ex. I set the timer and whenever the light doesn’t go off I look at the app and it says the light is offline. Not great.

Don’t waste your money
Before you download this app, put everything back in the box and return this light to wherever you bought it from.

Inconvenient
The updates takes forever in which you cannot use your phone. If the phone goes to sleep the update starts over. If you do not complete the update you can not change the colors on the lights. Will be discarding this light for something different
Cannot set custom scene in timer
The only reason I had bought the light was to fully customize the light the way I wanted using custom settings. White light at day and a faint custom thematic light at night. Without that option to use that setting I don’t see a reason to be keeping this light. I would just have to return the light and opt for an alternative light instead.
