The quality of the app is horrible
The app rarely gets the orientation right and the AR video jitters like crazy when playing, which is really bad to kids’ eyes, so I deleted the app after a few tries.
SO AMAZING!!
I read every book and it’s so awesome! Lots of twists and turns, and they never make you bored. It’s thrilling, and really keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s my favourite book series ever. I love it more than Harry Potter, and that is seriously saying something. The AR Reads app really helps it bring it to life. So I strongly suggest you stop reading and download right now.

Great freebie app to bring the dragon books to life a bit more, my toddler loves it and likes repetition so this is gab for him. Works fine on my iPhone.
Cool But Doesn’t Always Work
I love this app when it works, but it takes me a long time to actually get it to scan the page.

I’m really disappointed because the idea of using the seems really until it doesn’t work which happened to me. So I am quite disappointed but it does seem like a great idea.

Not great execution
Only about a third of the AR instances work on an iPhone 11pro on ios13. The idea is interesting but fiddling trying to get it to work really detracts from the bedtime reading experience. The voice acting could also be stronger.
