About
AR U Ready is a dedicated tool to explore and showcase immersive digital art in the form of Augmented Reality Experiences. Artists can engage with one another by showcasing AR artworks and sharing them with other app users. The app can use the device’s camera to scan target markers that trigger AR experiences - applying so-called “marker-based cloud recognition” technology. With later model handheld devices that are equipped with AR Core/Kit, the app supports also the “marker-less” technology where virtual objects can be placed on a physical surface by the user, not requiring a marker or trigger image. The app ties in with Appearition’s experience management system (EMS), a web-platform based content management system (CMS) for immersive experiences. Appearition’s EMS allows you to upload, edit and manage complex 3D models (including Asset Bundles, FBX, and OBJ) and other media directly from your computer, to be brought to life as AR in mobile devices via the app.
