ARC User Reviews

Response from developer

Hi B!r!u!, thank you for taking the time to write this, and I'm sorry ARC left you feeling unwelcome. That's the opposite of what we want. To be clear: LGBTQ+ stories aren't a missing category on ARC, they're part of every genre. Since anyone can write and publish a story, there's a wide range of romance (and other) stories with LGBTQ+ characters and premises already on the platform, with no restrictions on the kinds of relationships or characters people create. You're completely right that we make this hard to find. We don't have a dedicated genre tag or search filter for it right now, which means you have to stumble onto it rather than search for it, and that's a real gap in discoverability, not a gap in content. It's on us to fix, and we're going to look at adding better tagging and filtering so people can find exactly the kind of stories they're looking for. If you're open to it, we'd love for you to give ARC another look. I think you'll find more there than the current browse experience lets on.
