A skee-ball 2 clone

the prizes are blatant copies the physics and lanes are copies too everything is skee ball 2 but where it would say skee ball on the lanes, I have skee ball 2 on my iPod touch 5th generation and comparing the both games I’m not paying a fee just to be able to have what is essentially a 64 bit version of something I already have access to

Really!

I am not going to pay $4.99 a month to play a game.

The Game Constantly Freezes

It was working fine, until I got the subscription. Now it freezes all the time. Usually right in the middle of turn.

Pay to play

I used to be nuts for this game at least 5-6 years ago… when it was free to play. Not even worth paying $5 to play it, hard pass. Would’ve recommended it to, it’s a great skee ball game, but again, not worth paying a subscription for.

Forced to PAY

Forced to pay. Use it free for a short period then you are forced to pay ( $5 a month )
Pathetic

Ruined it

Why do I have to pay to play a game I played back in my childhood for FREE?

Kinda unimproved

I remember having this game a few years ago (like a lot of you) and I thought it was great, but now that I returned to it today, I found out there was a subscription. I didn’t sign up for it, but I believe the last time I played this, there was no subscription. I might’ve just been misremembering, but I don’t really like subscription based games and apps.

Original game was great… “port” does everything wrong

Loved the original game!
That said this company ruins games by “porting them” (making them barely work on modern versions of iOS and bringing them back to the store with minimal work) and putting them behind a subscription. That alone brings this review to a 1 star. But there are countless texture/model issues that plague this game

Trash and deceptive

“Optional,” my butt.

Love

I love this game, I own y’all’s original game for years and would love to know how I can get the full game without paying for a sub, if I can’t I won’t be able to keep the game as I cannot afford it, thanks.

Old game was better

The old game when me and my dad had it back around 2011 was great, it was called skee ball and it ran great and looked great. Now it doesn't look that good, it freezes randomly, and now I can't play it at all since the game service can't send me an email to activate my account. But even if I could do that I'd only play until my trial ran out. It's a shame what happened to this game. I'd be happier just buying the game from the app store out right than doing all of this.

They make you pay $5 A MONTH

After 10 minutes of play they force you to pay a subscription that will charge you $5 per month, this game is not worth even 0.50¢, I would NOT recommend ever downloading this app 0/5 rating

Need to pay to play

Don’t make a free app that can’t be played without purchase. Charge for the app if it’s a paid game..

Awful

Impossible to play this game… don’t want club memberships or anything to buy. I just want
to play the GD Game

Bait and switch?

Says it’s free then when you open it you have to join the game club for $4.99 a month before you can play. I’d give it zero stars if I could

Used to be the best app on the app store now it’s just like the rest.

This game made my childhood, the original skew ball was the greatest game on the store no doubt, now since these new money hungry creators took over they make you pay and have ads just like every other game nowadays. No one wants to play something you have to subscribe for and no one wants ads every 5 seconds. If this game was brought back right I would never stop playing it.

Love this game!

Since I could show that I bought the original game way back in 2009, the developer was able to unlock it for me so I don’t need a subscription to play. It’s great to be able to play this game again!

I dropped my rating to 3 stars because there is never any new content added to this game as there was with the original. Once you have “won” all of the prizes, you’re done. Very disappointing.

Bad

You can’t see anything where you’re trying to shoot

Best on iPad.

I LOVE skee ball, In person or in apps! This app is a lot of fun for me if I’m waiting, alleviates boredom. Plays best on my iPad. The physics on the balls works great in that space. Not that great on iPhone (12). Additionally, the slide to close apps on my current iOS is right where you need to launch balls, so the iPhone behaviour impedes the app function, I constantly have to reopen the app. I seem to perceive the ball physics are not optimized for the smaller screen real estate of an iPhone. ??

The makers honored my previous purchase, hats off to them! Much appreciated.

There’s a lot, and constant work to creating an app and keeping up with Apple changes. If you like people’s work, you spend a lot of time playing games, you shouldn’t complain about fees. IMO.
