A great dungeon crawler!
This is a very faithful reproduction of the Heroquest-style board game, and an excellent alternative if you find the Warhammer Quest app a tad overpriced. The gameplay is great, and you get a lot of quests and options. You can unlock to whole game for less than £2 - very good value.
Best Casual D&D like game out there.
This is a fun and entertaining game well worth the two bucks to get the full version being that it cheaper than a cup of coffee to get full access. Quick learning curve as well and each adventure in the typically 3-4 part dungeons takes only about 10-15 minutes so it’s a fun time killer on a work break or anytime you have a few minutes to spare. Still you can save your progress at any point during the dungeon so if you don’t have to worry about finishing up all at once. Fun to watch your characters progress and become more powerful as you go, earning gold to buy better gear. So if you like the old style pen and paper type rpg’s this is a great one to get.

Il primo boss che ti trovi contro è praticamente imbattibile. I 2 personaggi che hai sono al livello 1 senza equip. Non trovi uno straccio di arma neanche se le compri con soldi veri tra un po’. Non riesci a expare per aumentare il livello anche se ripulisci tutti i dungeon. Perdi oggetti perché l’inventario è pieno, quando potrebbero lasciare lì gli oggetti o farti decidere se scartare qualche cosa. Ritengo questo gioco una offesa per tutti i gdr, mediocre è molto poco divertente. Prego che l’app store proceda a cancellarlo prima possibile

Già solo il fatto che un gioco del genere sia praticamente gratuito si merita 5 stelle!
Ma sopratutto le meccaniche di gioco ricordano molto descent, e anche il fatto che non debba per forza collegarsi ad internet è un’altro punto a favore.
Non vedo l’ora di finirlo e vedere com’è il terzo capitolo della saga! Continuate a sfornare titoloni così vi prego, ne abbiamo bisogno 🤩

Solid Dungeon Crawler
Arcane Quest 2 is a solid dungeon crawler with a few notable issues. Those who played the first game will immediately notice the vastly expanded scope. Characters now level up, improving their stats and abilities over time. Magic users unlock additional spell slots as well, giving you access to new builds. Spells, like weapons and armor are purchased with gold earned by completing dungeons. More advanced gear requires higher level characters. All pretty standard fare but implemented well enough.
The dungeon crawling is heavily inspired by pen and paper role playing games. Die rolls determine everything(except, thankfully, for movement, the best gameplay change over the first game). You explore a grid based dungeon, fighting enemies, navigating traps, and collecting loot. The game’s major flaw is that the combat is unbalanced. Enemies and characters tend to have way more defense than attack power. This leads to situations where I spend 15 minutes fighting a single enemy, as neither of us can damage the other. This isn’t an issue of difficulty, mind you. It’s an issue of poor balance.
My other complaints are about the story and visuals. The story is simple, which is fine, but it is poorly translated (or written by a non-native English speaker) and often descends into gibberish. The visuals, meanwhile are also simplistic. Their main issue is that the developers use a white overlay to indicate your movement points, while also using white and tan floors. It can sometimes make the experience hard to parse, which can be especially damaging on the occasional missions with a turn limit.
Overall I consider this to be an improvement over the first game but still not perfect.

Wonderful.
First boss is hard as heck, but as soon as your lucky enough to get past it’s a great game from then on. So much after...!

Retro gaming at it’s best. I enjoy this game a lot, it reminds me of a “Hero q___” board game I played as a kid.

Un gioco vintage sviluppato benissimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Non posso che dare 5 stelle.
Solo due appunti (per voler essere fiscali) che, se aggiunti, lo rendono inarrivabile per la tipologia di gioco pensata:
1) dare la possibilità di di giocare online insieme ad altri giocatori ( come se ci si sedesse intorno ad un tavolo per giocare);
2) gli incantesimi li io li avrei dati solo ad alcuni personaggi (non ce li vedo proprio guerriero, nano ed assassino pratici di arti magiche). Com’è ora si appiattiscono le capacità dei vari personaggi.
Per il resto tutto PERFETTO :-)

Recaptures the spirit
Hero quest reborn! Delivers everything promised. Great game for fans of the original, or those looking for a lite table top rpg. Play is better once the tutorial is over, don’t give up on it till you’ve finished the first real mission. Options to buy other characters and gold, but not really necessary to enjoy the game, unlike other pay to play games. Inventory is a little wonky at first but you will get used to it. No hoarding in this game. Use your items or stand next to another character to pass them. Movement threw me at first until I started clicking on the characters to select them to move out of turn. If you want everyone in the same place just keep ending your turn and moving one guy. Can’t say enough about this game. Try it!

Great fun!
Loving this game. Just difficult enough to make you careful with your heroes and plenty of gameplay and upgrade options. Well worth playing!

Demais, voltar as epicas do rpg de tabuleiro de 20 anos atras é impagável, a única crítica é que a tradução do idioma em português é muito ruim, seria legal se resolvesse isso, enquanto isso prefiro jogar em inglês mesmo! Abraços
