Veramente bravi

Love it

A friend showed me this game on his phone and since then I have lost many an hour reliving my love of Heroquest on this app. This is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone looking to play an engrossing, fun, board game on your mobile device.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in this app. Poor story progression, very little character development. Needs a lot of work, truthfully, scrap it and start over.

Great Game!

This is a great game and can be a bit challenging at first but once you get the hang of it it's a blast! Can't wait to see what else you make.

Lots of fun

Played through Arcane Quest 2 and 3, and wanted more, so I downloaded this and played it through also. More action and less storyline than the other two, but still a very enjoyable action-RPG with little bit of a Hero Quest board game feel. I'd recommend Arcane Quest 2 and 3 first, but if you've played those and still need more arcane questing, look no further. This will satisfy the itch.

Loads of fun

I didn't find the game overly difficult and must have missed the "pay wall" that one reviewer mentioned. I bought the extra characters pack, mostly to get rid of the mildly annoying ads.

I am still on my first game and have defeated the first boss. You can't run through it like it was real time. You need to stop just before the corner and finish that turn to get back your movement points. Step around the corner and see what's there. Lots of interesting tactical situations like that.

I buy the defensive gear first. Then a better weapon (have not yet tried the wizard).

Best rouge-like game in a long time!

Avis

Meh

Would be a good game if you could hold more items 6 consumables is just pathetic

Bello

Интересная игра

Fantastic game!!!

I honestly don't understand how this game is "too hard". It's described as a rogue-like game and it captures that perfectly. I will be honest, playing as the wizard is certainly more difficult than if you start with the warrior or dwarf, simply because they can take more of a beating with the higher armor and the better dice for physical attacks, which certainly help. However, there is a place for the spell caster too!

The gameplay is smooth and the character development is spot on. This is by no means an easy game but that's part of the charm. I've played two full games so far, one with the warrior and one with the wizard. In neither game did I even make it to the first boss but it was great trying! It kept me coming back for more and craving to see what the next dice roll had in store. Now, with that being said, I'm currently in my third game. This time I'm playing as the dwarf and let me tell you he kicks some major butt if things go right. I got some great armor and a nasty battle axe. Just defeated the first boss AND his Ogre minion. What!?!

Remember I said, "If things go right"? It's true. I had 2 previous attempts with the dwarf and got crushed early on. Some inadequate dice rolls and the poor decision to take on an armored Orc far too soon meant an early demise for me. You have to tread carefully and hope for the best at times, and although you have to hope for some good dice rolls, I seriously never felt cheated like I had in other games (Blood Bowl I'm talking to you!!!)

As far as a pay wall goes... I have no idea why someone would say that. You get the three aforementioned heroes from the start for free and there is nothing to buy, ever. You have all features unlocked from the start. The only thing you can buy is a pass for all of the other heroes, which is less than $3. Small price to pay for 11 heroes along with any and all expansions that might be coming out. Even if they don't release additional content, that is certainly the best three bucks I ever spent in the App Store.

If you enjoy fantasy themed board games that are done right, do yourself the favor and at least give it a shot. The first 3 heroes ARE free, after all. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I'm not. Enjoy!

Fun,but some changes needed

Unlike most of the reviews i saw, they said the game was really hard and about how you cant have more then one charecter, but it was not that hard when i played it and if having teamate actually was that helpful for them, theyre able to be recruited.theres one main problem i have and its that the game does not come with all 12 classes and no where in the description did it say they had to be payed for,so without paying, you can only choose 3 classes. Also using the recruited mercenary should be easier to do.

Too Hard

I tried playing this several times and the games lasted an average of about 3 minutes before I got killed and had to start completely over from the beginning. I've played the original Heroes Quest and this is way harder (probably because you only get 1 hero and there are way more monsters). Games that are too hard for the average player are not fun. At least have some kind of difficulty setting.

Could be better

It's a fun game but has a massively annoying feature; When you die you can lose hours of progress. It's really put me off wanting to play any more.

Too many adds

Sooooo many pop up adds. You spend more time waiting till you can close them then playing the game. Has potential though.

This could be it!

A brilliant tabletop RPG - full of skill, strategy and suspense. If the developer continues to expand the game-world, this could be the very best fantasy adventure on IOS.

Pay walls right off the bat

Second click in there's a pay wall. Sets the tone for the rest of the game. I'd skip it if you don't want to pay.

Ok

It's good but they need to improve the graphics
