Unoriginal slop

This is just a bad imitation of balatro. Go play that instead. I’d like a refund.

Runs poorly on “older” devices, not well-balanced. Made by AI?

Gets extremely laggy after a few minutes of play in a 6th gen iPad. We really don’t need all those particle effects for a card game. It also seems poorly balanced, as obtaining certain individual trinkets will guarantee an easy win. I don’t want to be mean, but it kind of seemed like AI was used heavily to make this game. There were just a number of little things a human would have thought of.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and for being honest about it. The lag you're seeing on the 6th-generation iPad is something I want to fix. "Gets worse after a few minutes" is a very useful clue, and I'm looking into it now on older iPads, including a way to tone down the effects. On balance: version1.3, out now, makes Twist mode noticeably harder, and I'm also looking at trinkets that can carry a run on their own. ArcFlush is made by one person, so I may well have missed the little things you noticed. If you're willing to tell me which ones, please write to arcflush.whypixel.com/support. I read every message.

Manages to have it's own identity

I bought this game thinking it would be a balatro clone, yet I was pleasantly charmed by the way it creates a medley of concepts. I love roguelikes and this one did not disappoint me at its price. It's challenging and engaging.

Making you happy is the biggest recognition we could get. Thank you

A very fun card game.

The gameplay is simple but entertaining—great as a little time-killer. Once you start playing, you can play for a long time.

Thanks for your feedback

Cheap feeling

I’m sorry but the whole game feels really cheap and low quality. Keep the money though and take the criticism. It just feels bland and I don’t understand how the multipliers work in this game.

I was expecting majong but got a solitaire feeling instead!! Yuck. If ur looking for a new game I highly don’t recommend this one as a time waster even. There are free games with higher quality than this one!!

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback, and sorry it wasn't what you expected. ArcFlush borrows mahjong-style stacked layouts, but the game itself is about building poker hands, so we understand the mismatch. On scoring: each hand gives Charge (the card values) × Mult (from the hand type), and trinkets add to either side before they're multiplied. We clearly need to explain that better in-game, and we're working on it. If the game isn't for you, you can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
