Great shifter system

Absolutely love my Archer system. The app allowed very precise setup and has worked flawlessly ever since with only one tiny adjustment shortly after initial setup. Putting the bike on a stand for the setup is pretty much required.

The only “gripe” I have is that the app can’t provide battery charge info while the system is fully turned on and ready to ride. The remote has to be turned off and the shifter paired with the app. Not sure how the app gets the remote battery stats when it is turned off…. Maybe the last known value.

Anyway, would be great to be able to monitor battery levels during a long ride without shutting part of it down.

Spent $545. Installed shifter. Downloaded Archer Component App unto iphoneX with IOS 15.5. App has no pages for setting up the shifter. At 5pm PDT no response from developer on phone, on email or on text.

Fantastic, just like the hardware!!

Really great system, very quick and easy to programme the shifter. Could I suggest increasing the hold shifting to more than 5 cogs at a time. Separately, if the app could incorporate a cadence sensor and speed sensor (BLE), then this could be an automatic gear shifter which would be fantastic. I’m thinking of trying to use an Arduino/esp32/Raspberry pi to do this, either via Bluetooth (ideally repeating the ble transmission from the remote) or worst case, to directly wire into the remote. Regardless, great app that just works seamlessly with a phenomenal product that is so well thought and packaged - even comes with a case with spare rechargeable batteries!! Thanks Devin!!!
