Menu Management Simulator

The entire game is intentionally and constantly overwhelming. there are hundreds of garbage ui buttons you are expected to peak through constantly to get rewards and minigames in the main menus you are expected to play hundreds of times. hours pass before you even start one run because of how much menu flooding there is. then, when you make it to the gameplay, it is the same thing. constant popups for upgrades that can not be automated in any way and play obnoxious casino-esque animations that are unskippable. this is more like a slot machine than it is a game. do not play unless looking for inspiration on making the least user-friendly game imaginable.

Pay to win

Most things needed to get stronger and locked behind a pay wall, same goes for their first game.
I doubt there’s anyone in the top 1000 that hasn’t spent money to get there.

The reason Archero 2 is great

Archero 2 is a type of game most people would just walk by because they don’t understand it fully, they can see one ad and be like “oh this looks like it is ad packed and paywalls”, but what makes this game amazing there is no ads “unless you need an extra life or cash, etc, and you can grind up all the stuff quickly so it doesn’t take hours to get good. And even then when you are maxed it can still get very challenging and hard for your character. I fell in love with this game after the first level because it mixes stories and other characters with action packed game. Every level is sculpted great and the extra things you can do.

Aggressive gambling pay to play

This game starts out fun, but quickly becomes a pay to play game. The levels become unbeatable with all able to take you out in one shot. The game is gambling game and aggressively conditions you to gambling. From purchasing items, rolling dice every event is based on gambling. Item upgrades reside gambling to get multiple pieces of the same thing just to upgrade. I quit the game because it’s not about skill, it’s about paying gambling to upgrade.

What a game!

This game is so fun and addictive, no unnecessary ads and you are not hounded with pop ups trying to push you to spend money on the game although it is an option. I can see myself playing this game for a while.

Addictive

This is one of the few games I keep going back to. I think it’s got the right balance of challenge and progression for paying and F2P. You can interact with other players but won’t get looted into bankruptcy like in some other games. There are enough new things to keep it interesting but not so much that you get lost. Great for the casual gamer!

Slow splash screens and random skills frustrate play

On gigabit Wifi, the slow splash screens are frustrating. Navigation for closing screens is awkward. But worst of all success is thwarted by randomization of skills awarded— it’s like playing a slot machine, where the house always wins. And the monetization of this game is out of control.
